Strategic positioning after death valley visit, coming from a long drive from Bakersfield. Fuel station in front of the resort is pure gold. Restaurant inside and swimming pool. Room was clean and staff friendly and efficient. Nice Desert experience to live USA outside of big cities.

Everything was excellent! Our room was perfect, comfortable beds and very clean. Pool area was great, plenty of chairs and beds with areas in and out of the sun. We ate in the saloon bar and really enjoyed our meal and also the ice cream parlour. Staff were all lovely. We definitely will be back for a longer stay in the future

Don't plan on hiking unless it's early in morning or in winter. Lots to see from your air conditioned car while occasionally getting out. Was more impressed with the scenery than I thought I would be. Pay attention to all the colors of the rocks.
