Clean, comfortable, and great location right at the base of the ski hill. If you want a smaller ski hill with the same snow as Nozawa, Togari is a good spot. Little onsen in the basement was nice too. We felt it was really good value here for the price. Gábor, the guy running it, was very friendly, and went above and beyond to help us find extra ski gear when we showed up lacking. The building is well-insulated. Open fire place in the common area, with leather sofas. A great place to relax. Very close to the ski ticketing and slope. You can ski back to the ski lodge.
