After traveling around Sri Lanka for three weeks, we ended our holiday at this villa hotel, and it was truly amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. They were hospitable, attentive, always smiling, and eager to help with any request. A special shout-out to Leel and Roshan for making our stay extra special! The hotel itself was fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Lunch and dinner were also excellent, with a variety of well-priced and well-prepared dishes. The seafood platter was a highlight—huge, flavorful, and customizable to our preferences. I highly recommend trying it! The seating area and pool were perfect for relaxing, and the beautiful sandy beach was just a short walk away. One of the most memorable experiences was witnessing three turtles nesting at night and then seeing the government team collect the eggs in the morning. On our final day, we were lucky enough to watch baby turtles being released into the ocean—an unforgettable experience! If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway, this is the perfect place. From start to finish, we felt completely at ease and in holiday mode. We couldn’t find a single fault—highly recommended!

Sinharaja Kurulu Ella Eco Resort está en Deniyaya y dispone de wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y restaurante. We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful rainforest getaway! Janith & his wife are really kind hosts, very helpful and passionate about the rainforest and the animals living there. Everything was really clean and we even got gluten free & vegan meal options. The food was delicious! We recommend choosing the local food options. Also the rainforest tour they organize is really special and recommendable! We loved it. Also the waterfall at the property is more than beautiful!

Natural Mystic Sanctuary está en Deniyaya y dispone de vistas a la montaña, piscina de temporada al aire libre, jardín, terraza y restaurante. Hay wifi gratis. Me enamoré de este lugar, para mi, que me gusta la naturaleza, el más auténtico y agradable de los que estuve. Si algún día regreso a Sri Lanka será para volver a la Reserva forestal de Sinharaja y hospedarme en este maravilloso santuario. Los anfitriones y el staff muy agradables, la comida muy buena, la casita enorme y el guía que nos aconsejaron para realizar el tour, maravilloso. Les deseo lo mejor a Karina y resto del equipo.

Ripple by the river dispone de vistas al jardín, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Se encuentra en Weligama, a 2,1 km de Playa de Weligama. This property is like a safari. We saw so much wildlife during our stay. The Air conditioner works very good and the WiFi is strong.

Lunuvila Resort Hiriketiya Dikwella dispone de vistas al jardín, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Se encuentra en Dikwella, a 9 min a pie de Playa de Dickwella. our absolute favorite stay in sri lanka! we kept extending it because oh we loved it so much. 1. the place is ideally located between dickwella and hiriketiya. close to the main road but far enough to be quiet! (important for us) 2. the room is extremely clean and well-thought out. very beautifully decorated with so much love and attention to detail. we had everything needed and couldn’t ask for more really. having our own kitchen was a huge plus and you can also do your laundry here. 3. the host Dasitha is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) person we’ve ever met. he was so patient and humble and truly cared about our experience…! very welcoming and friendly. great communication too. made our stay so special. helped us a lot in all possible aspects of our travel. feeling very grateful we decided to stay there and meet him. 4. the space: there’s a quiet outdoor area with sunbeds. we loved it! 5. unbeatable value for the price.! we couldn’t wish for a better accommodation! can’t recommend enough and look forward to coming back. thank you so much Dasitha!

Unrushed Midigama está a 2,1 km de Playa Midigama y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, terraza y cocina compartida. En el lodge, tanto el wifi como el parking privado son gratis. Good wifi, massive lawn, and my personal favourite- monster lizard. It lives in the lawn. You can walk to the beach and all the eateries. Manu is very resourceful and can get you most of the things. Just ask him!

The garden, the bungalow with it’s private space outside to chill, the common areas where people got together to drink, eat or just chat… It’s also a 1 minute walk from the beach and literally 30 seconds from awesome coffe shops and restaurants. The hosting family is kind and will help you with anything you need. I had the chance to know more about them and how midigama has evolved in the past 40 years. It was really interesting and they are the sweetest people. Also, 2 great surfing spots just a few minutes walk from the bungalows. I will surely come back! Thanks for everything!

El propietario y su hermano son súper atentos y no dudan en ayudar en lo que necesites. Nos enseñaron donde vivien y qué cultivan. Te sientes en medio de la nada rodeado de naturaleza y calma. Ten presente que pueden haber bichos pero es debido a estar rodeado de naturaleza.

The Whitegates Lodge se encuentra en Weligama, en la región de Distrito de Matara, cerca de Playa Midigama. This is a gem in the area and the best accommodation we had in all Sri Lanka! Super clean, delicious varying breakfasts, very comfortable and spacious rooms, and extremely friendly and helpful hosts. We wish we could have stayed longer! The wifi was fast enough to work and do videocalls and it was nice to have access to a little kitchen too.
