The hotel and the territory was great. We stayed with a 1 yo baby, who enjoyed the garden and the pool. A comfortable crib was also provided. A great breakfast was freshly made every morning. It’s a bit distant from the city, so make sure you have a car. Overall, highly recommended, will do again.

Es el paraíso en la tierra, muy feliz de haber tomado la decisión de hospedarme en Shanti. No es solo un hotel es una experiencia. El personal tiene un carisma inigualable siempre al pendiente de los huéspedes. Las instalaciones son muy cómodas con detalles muy únicos.

Posada Woochooch tiene vistas a la montaña, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Está en San Juan La Laguna, a 25 km de Volcán de Atitlán. Traveled in Guatemala with my 2 daughters to celebrate my 50th birthday. Posada Woochooch is beautiful and is a safe little family hotel. It has a peaceful and beautiful garden. We loved the location, not too touristy, it was quiet but close to everything. Communication with staff was great. The family who runs the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Every day their sweet dog Rocco would welcome us. We had a shared bathroom, but everything was kept very clean so it really didn't matter. Highly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights in one of the direct laguna view cabañas and enjoyed tremendously everything: from the hosts, Bernie and Sam who were very welcoming and helpful, to the amazing views and setting, the confort of the rooms to the very nice and healthy food available throughout the day. We liked the place so much that we ended up staying there throughout our stay, just enjoying the beauty of the place. A true slow living experience!

The family that runs the hotel is absolutely exceptional. Extremely kind and they treat you like you’re a part of the family. I was really lucky to not have many other people during my stay. The tables in the rooms is a winner for me, not many places have that and I really needed it. The WiFi is really good and I could work with no issues. You’ll need to lay everywhere with cash. The shower in the dorms is interesting, let’s say you’ll have a view right at the nature :) the water in the shower is really refreshing which is actually really good excuse it’s really hot there during the day. the forest area could use some cleaning or more organized wilderness but still awesome place. I was really surprised that there were almost no mosquitos. When you’re there definitely tent the kayak! And omg Marta’s food is freaking amazing!!! Definitely order topas (pricey but delicious!!!)

Cabanas Jaalkab está a 13 min a pie de Playa de Chelem y ofrece bicicletas gratis y piscina al aire libre, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, terraza y wifi gratis. Nos encantó nuestra estancia. Las cabañas son auténticas, cómodas y bien equipadas, con una cama grande, nevera y hasta una hamaca para relajarse. El recinto está muy bien cuidado, con una piscina y espacios agradables para descansar. Pero, sin duda, lo mejor fue la atención de Doña Belinda. Desde el primer momento fue increíblemente amable y atenta, ofreciéndonos incluso la posibilidad de volver después del check-out para disfrutar de la piscina. Ese trato tan cálido hace que la experiencia sea aún mejor. Recomendamos este lugar a quienes buscan tranquilidad, naturaleza y una hospitalidad excepcional. ¡Volveríamos sin dudarlo!

El Caribbean Beach Cabanas, situado en Placencia, solo admite adultos y ofrece una zona de playa privada y bicicletas gratuitas. The service and recommendations from Lucas on the bar was such a highlight. Big comfy bed, beach just outside your door and an easy walk to some great restaurants nearby.
