We were in December, we were worried about the temperature but completely unnecessarily - the fireplace in the suite heated the whole cabin quickly, adding a romantic, cozy atmosphere. Breakfast served in the morning at the door - bread, pancakes, yogurt, fruit, fresh juice. The whole cabin very clean, the bed very comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful. The owners were very nice and helpful, they responded promptly in case of problems. We had a temporary power outage, we called and immediately the problem was solved. We felt special and thank you very much for that. The whole stay allowed us to get away from reality for a while. We will definitely return, and recommend to everyone.

The apartment was very clean and the terrace was with a wonderful view. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows was new 😊👌 This place is 10/10!

From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was beyond amazing – it truly felt like coming home. The interior is beautifully designed, every detail perfectly in place, and everything was spotless. The food was outstanding – both dinner and breakfast were a real treat. I’m still dreaming about the pretzel balls, they were unforgettable! Every meal felt like a gift, prepared with so much care and flavor. This place is a gem – warm, stylish, and full of heart. I can’t wait to return! Would definitely recommend!

Nossa Senhora da Peneda Sanctuary is 4.8 km from the lodge. The perfect base camp for exploring nature and for hikes in the National Park, exactly what we were looking for. In the middle of the forest, quiet and remote, so perfect. So thankful for Amadeu's kindness and generosity has a host, he made our stay even better.

A sun terrace is available on site and fishing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. The location is exceptional really beautiful. With great walking and a gorgeous swimming spot. The cottage also has a shared garden to relax in where you can here the river and look at the mountains. The host Bernardino is great, really welcoming he leaves basic supplies in accommodation and offers a free welcome drink. He gave us great recommendations for walking and on the day we left we had a flat car battery and he helped organise a mechanic to get us started . He even checked we arrived home safely. Thank you
