Very private, adorable little cottage nestled under huge mountains. Everyone we dealt with was welcoming and respectful. The estate is amazing and definitely a place we’d go to again.

We had a wonderful mid week escape at this hotel. The location is great, the welcome was wonderful and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. Looking for an excuse to go back!

El Banhoek Lodge está junto al pintoresco paso de Helshoogte, donde hay diversas explotaciones vinícolas. La habitación era encantadora, disponía de chimenea de gas que le daba un toque cálido perfecto. La cama era gigante! El desayuno, el cual pueden servirte en la habitación, es buenísimo. Recomendadísimo.

El Eikendal Lodge está situado entre viñedos al pie de la montaña Helderberg, cerca de Stellenbosch, y cuenta con jardines exuberantes y piscina. Peaceful and relaxing. Great service. Will definitely go there again.

We had the pleasure of staying here for our honeymoon and my birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the lovely Pauline and her team, setting the tone for a magical stay. Our lodge was stunning—better than we could have ever hoped for—and the food was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to assist us, with a special mention to Nugent, who made our stay even more special. Because of the intimate nature of the reserve, we also had the opportunity to connect with other guests, which added to the overall experience. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the game drives. During our three-night stay, we participated in five drives, with the morning ones proving particularly rewarding. Our ranger, the wonderful TK, not only kept us safe but also enriched our experience with his deep knowledge of the wildlife. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our honeymoon and birthday celebration so memorable. We would love to return in a few years and relive the magic!
