From the very first moment we received a warm friendly welcome. Our host couldn't do enough for us. The cabin was comfy, cosy and well appointed. The site is spacious, picturesque and peaceful yet fully equipped for every type of traveller. Pup had a wonderful stay, responsible dog owners have nothing to fear with this site. We were only ever minutes away from everything by car. Can not recommend this place enough.

A beautiful house in the heart of Stradbally. 10 min walk to Stradbally Cove and only a few mins drive to other fabulous beaches. So close to Dungarvan, Waterford, Tramore and the Greenway. The house had everything we needed for our weekend stay. 2 pubs and a shop on your doorstep! A gem! The host was 100% with communication even though we never met! Highly recommended.....

What can I say about Avonmore House other than good things... my partner and I have come to Youghal to live and John and Mary made our start better than expected. The rooms are very good, with a toilet, a small refrigerator to store some things, very comfortable beds... the location is also very good, because the sea is next to the house. We decided to take the breakfast and thank goodness, because it was incredible. My partner ordered the smoothie and it was delicious, and so was the fritata, with the melted cheese... finger-licking good. And well, not to mention the treatment that John and Mary had with us. When John saw us with suitcases the first day, he told us how we hadn't told him and he had come to pick us up. And the day we left, he drove us with all the suitcases to the new house. My partner and I came to an accommodation and we found a home.
