Absolute stabbing location with the direct view on the Sigiriya rock. Small not overcrowded hotel. Always friendly personnel who knew us already on the second day of our stay. Very good food - breakfast and dinner. Excellent swimming pool - the big one - but the small one directly at the room was also very handy. Good place for walking - we saw elephants directly on the other side of the river! Just during simple sunset walk! Rooms are spacious as well, with very good organized and equipped bathrooms (I am speaking about king suits, not budget rooms). By far it was the best hotel we stayed in Sri Lanka.

Everything just like on the pictures. Superb location, within a short walk to Sigiriya rock and town but far away from the crowds. Beautiful garden full of plants and animals. Superb food served by the hosts for great price with a wide choice of traditional food: every day the breakfast and dinner completely different. But the overall best highlight is the hosting family: we felt like home. We came with children and both them and us loved the hosts and if we had more time, I wish we could stay longer. When we return to Sri Lanka one day, it is the PLACE where we definitely want to stay again!!!

Excellent breakfast, with a large choice. Location is perfect, on a lake with a crocodile...Heidi. Very nice restaurant, lovely barbecue. Buildings made by an excellent architect and on top of that, ecological. They offer their own vegetables and fruits. Butler service: we very much liked our butler, thank you very much Ruwan!

    This place is unbelievable. Unlimited luxury, great design, superb service, attentive and helpful staff. And very affordable. Great sport facilities. Probably, one of the best hotel pool with a view to kill you can imagine. Their cabins in the jungle are huge and super comfy.
