Very nice host and convenient location, which is just next to a bus stop. The room is big and clean. And it’s an interesting experience to stay in a tatami style room. In addition, there is wash machine and dryer in the hostel, so it is really helpful for the hiking travellers. The river view is very nice. Morning walk around the area is refreshing.

Absolutely amazing onsen hotel, great location, friendly staff, we also enjoyed the kaiseki dinner so much that we ordered it again. Same with the traditional breakfast. It doesn't get any more authentically Japanese than this, anywhere you go, quintessentially Japanese!

Adumaya Ryokan is the perfect way to explore Yunomine Onsen. We stayed two nights as part of our hiking route through the Kumano Kodo, and coming back to Adumaya to relax on its multiple baths was one of the highlights of our trip. The ryokan is a deep and layered blend of history and tradition; the service is unbeatable, the dinner incredible, and the experience a real treat. We particularly appreciated the above-and-beyond help they provided to ensure our next leg of the trip was seamless.

Absolutely magical location. The hotel has rooms with views that absolutely take your breath away. You look straight out onto a beautiful forest with nothing else in sight. The Japanese style rooms are huge and have a private bathroom with amazing views of the forest and river below. The outdoor onsen at the hotel is the best in Kawayu. It’s clean and right on the bank of the river looking out onto the forest. You can soak in the onsen and then take a dip in the fresh cold river a few steps away. This is a stay to remember for a lifetime.

The service is excellent. Especially Mr Matsumoto Yuto who has been very helpful and his service to us not only in detail but also with passion. Matsumoto san had made extra effort to translate our daily Kaiseki menu in English and also patiently explained to us the food, as well as the sake. He was cheerful and fun as well. The staffs in the Club resort also provided attentive service with enthusiasm. We enjoyed our stay very much.
