Traditional style ryokan with the nicest and most hospitable hosts. Every member of staff at chousenkaku was extremely helpful and kind, going out of their way to accommodate any requests. The location is excellent, a short 10 minute walk to the station and 5 minutes to a convenience store if needed. The food was spectacular - we were delighted with our choice to stay here. The building has a rich history too, for which information can be found in the lobby and by speaking to the staff. The private onsen is reasonably priced and well appointed with amenities, water etc.

Good dinner; nice onsen/rotemburo baths. Good buffet breakfast, lots of choice. Room facilities all good Inc WiFi, plenty usb sockets, fridge. Friendly service.

The Route-Inn Kamisuwa provides comfortable accommodation with free wired internet and free breakfast. Guests can slowly unwind in the public bath with free toiletries.

I just walk 5 mins from JR station. the staff are nice and friendly, a receptionist boy helped me to adjust my air conditioner, thank you! the spa is really nice and good. the brand of all route inn are excellent. the breakfast have a lot of choices and the location brand name foods. the price of hotel is reasonable

Everything was perfect. Beautiful and calm location. Delicious food - we stayed for 2 nights and it was a different menu for both breakfast and kaiseki dinner on each day. Very nice collection of books and art albums in the lounge area. Lovely cocktails in the bar. But the best part was very attentive and friendly staff. Both my wife and I have tattoos so we stayed in the room with a private onsen. It was fantastic and you can adjust the temperature for your liking. Absolutely worth it. Also, the staff helped us to reserve a public bath for private use outside of busy hours so we can enjoy beautiful scenery of Nagano. The hotel has very unique vibe and history. Can't wait to visit it again.
