What an amazing place! The cottage is easy to reach, yet you feel completely immersed in nature. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need, and the complimentary coffee was such a treat. Sitting outside, you overlook the beautifully maintained garden, and the host, Anna, even lets you know when sloths are spotted in the trees—a truly unique and wonderful touch! In the area, we loved relaxing in the thermal baths, hiking up the Miravalles Volcano (challenging but so rewarding!), and visiting Rincón de la Vieja. We also took plenty of time to simply unwind, which fit perfectly into our travel plans. On our way there we passed by Rio Celeste, another absolute highlight and well worth a day trip.

Earnesto & his family have the most interesting property & are doing wonderful things for the wildlife & environment. Clean rooms. The river swim a highlight.

Brilliant stay new building which was very clean. Secluded location and seen lots of wildlife right outside our door in the morning with toucans and hummingbirds on trees just outside and even seen a sloth when leaving. Host was very friendly and helpful and would definitely recommend.

Super nice check in. Great English and we could pay by card. We even got a night tour trough the gardens! Saw several different frogs and a fluorescent caterpillar. Room was spacious and just perfect. Breakfast in the morning was nice. The juga natural was very tasty.

We had a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful and the hot pools are amazing. You wake up to the sounds of birds in the morning! Loved the hospitality - it is a family run business and the owner was really helpful; Juan, our server at the restaurant was great and the food was really tasty! Exceptional value for money too!

Fabulous. The accommodations, surroundings and food was everything we hoped and more. The owner was super nice and made us feel so welcomed and at home. Seeing the wide variety of birds and wildlife on the property was a bonus. We cannot wait to return.
