Absolute gem of a place. Booked last minute as we had a party in the town. The room was beautiful, so stylish and different with its unusual furniture. The hosts couldn't do enough for us. We would definitely recommend it to anyone. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We felt totally pampered and so welcome in Elise and Richard’s stunning home. Two nights were far too short so we will definitely be back. The village is beautiful and we enjoyed a super meal sat on the terrace of the local restaurant. Delicious breakfasts (my French husband said that the croissants were the best that he has had). The beautiful collections of art and quirky antiques have been brought together by the couple to complement an interior which is fit for any French Home Magazine.

Location was perfect in centre of village within walking distance of all amenities. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the Gite. It is beautifully furnished throughout and the large enclosed garden has plenty of shade. Communication with the owner was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. Very good accomodation for the centre of Confolens. Communication from the owner was very good and friendly. There was secure storage for our bikes. The accomodation was very comfortable and suited our needs. Good kitchen space and bathroom. The garden area was excellent, private with good views. The tables and chairs in the garden are ideal for relaxing and dining.
