It is a real treasure in Crete. Absolute peace, only the sounds of the village. Apartment clean, equipped above standard, double a/c, parking space. Excellent communication with the owner before and during the stay. About 50 meters local tavern with a selection of local dishes. A car is necessary due to the accessibility of the village, beaches and places for excursions.

Such an amazing place! Absolutely beautiful villa in a tranquil setting with stunning views. The villa is well equipped, has a great swimming pool and bbq, fast WiFi and multiple seating areas to enjoy sun/shade at different times of the day. A short drive from Paleochora where there are great beaches and restaurants. The host, Manya was so helpful and welcoming so you will be met on arrival and she will share things to do and places to go which waa great! You will need a car, but if you're looking for peace and quiet and a great place to relax then I would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Minos Country Living Apartments, a charming spot conveniently located right across the street from The Old Petrol Station. About 15 mins to entrance of Irini Gorge. Just a tip: the directions from Booking.com are spot on — do stick to the main road. If you try to shortcut through the smaller lanes, you’ll quickly find yourself on an unpaved track, and most rental car insurances won’t cover that. Our apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated, and felt very welcoming. My personal highlight was the bathroom: modern, stylish, and with a fantastic rain shower that was perfect after a long day out. The accommodation has three pools in total. Two are private and belong to specific apartments, while the largest one — which was ours — is shared with three other apartments. As it turned out, we had it all to ourselves, which felt like a real luxury. After the scenic drive from Elafonisi, it was simply wonderful and refreshing to cool off here. The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at The Old Petrol Station before heading out to hike the Irini Gorge (about a 10-minute drive away). After the hike, I would have loved nothing more than another swim to relax, but unfortunately, we had to move on. In hindsight, I’d absolutely recommend hikers to plan at least two nights here if possible — it’s the perfect base to explore the area and unwind in comfort. All in all, a stylish, peaceful stay with great amenities in a beautiful part of Crete!

Our stay at Kanadia Paradise was amazing. If you want to spend time in the mountains, away from people, with breathtaking mountain views and even more beautiful sunsets, I highly recommend it. Everything was perfect. The owners are very kind, they put their heart into this place, and I wish them all the best with their growing business. The entire hotel is new. Everything was spotless. Flawless. If I ever return to Crete, I will definitely stay here again, because it was truly something special. I will gladly cherish the memories of the time spent here for a long time. The breakfast was excellent as well. We also had dinner at the restaurant connected to the accommodation, and we can only recommend it, everything was delicious.

The Vakakis family is very kind and helpful! Our apartment and its equipment were fantastic! There were many goodies waiting for us in our room from the family's store!     Bearing mind the low cost we were very pleased with this accommodation. We were greeted in friendly fashion and given a choice of rooms which all seemed fine. the food at dinner included tasty home grown produce which did not disappoint. Almost next to the gorge entrance, with easy parking the accommodation is very nicely located.
