Loved this place. Great location close to heraklion but also rural. The old village style of the hotel felt authentic even though it's not, the outside restaurant seating area with views under the trees was stunning.Great food. Most of all I loved the fact that we were made to feel very welcome, Chris and Georges in the restaurant were particularly attentive, chatting to us and answering all our questions. Oh and not forgetting the cats, dog, goats and parrot.

Very modern and beautifully decorated rooms + pool/restaurant area. Delicious breakfast. Helpful staff. Easy to access by public transport. A bit further from oldtown/city center, but we weren't planning on exploring Heraklion, so it was a perfect choice for us.

Hosts are excellent, we stayed for two nights and one full day in the farm, Ireni makes great breakfast and dinner with local products, kids even got a free horse ride as bonus. We felt like real guests and tried authentic cretan cuisine! Nature is breathtaking! If you look for calm stay for few days definitely recommend.

We had to stay one night in Heraklion, due to an early flight. The stay in Mika Apartment was perfect. We could walk to the old town (30 mins) and the distance to the Airport was just 15 mins by car. There is a free parking lot right next to the apartment, so everything was smooth and easy. The apartment is very nice, very clean, and with a lot of love to all the details. You will find coffee for the morning and there where even 2 chocolate croissants waiting for us. 🙂 It was all very nice and we would come back again whenever we need an overnight stay in Heraklion!
