We enjoyed our stay at this Guesthouse which is very lovely and 1hr from Reykjavík and also is kind of close to most of the attractions. Also the staff is lovely which for my surprise were from my country (Romania) . Breakfast and Dinner are very good . Definitely will come back for a summer period !

I recently stayed at Bitra Guesthouse and was very pleased with my experience. The guesthouse is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff is VERY friendly and helpful. The property is really beautiful - the decor is tasteful,warm and friendly. It has a hot tub and a cold plunge and a huge kitchen. There is a garden/conservatory linking the kitchen to the house which is simply wonderful filled with amazing plants with lots of seating. It is nothing like anywhere else we have stayed and stands out from the rest of the accommodation available in Iceland.

    We stayed in one of the 3 little huts which felt nice and private. Because the room is small it heats up quickly and stays cosy. Lots of space to park the car outside. Lovely quiet countryside location.
