It is a beautiful house surrounded by a beautiful garden on the outskirts of the city but in 5 minutes by tuktuk you are in the center. The rooms are incredible, super large and with a perfect bathroom. All the furniture has been designed and built by the owner with great taste. In addition, the food is very good! And the owners are charming people. In short, a perfect place to disconnect.

Our room was an instant comfort—spacious, thoughtfully designed, and filled with subtle details that made it feel more than just a place to sleep. But let’s talk about the light. I still don’t know how to describe it properly—there was no bulb, and yet, it was one of the most powerful and unique lights I’ve ever seen. Are they living in the future? The rooftop terrace is another highlight. Open and spacious, it offers 360-degree views of Kampot, perfect for both sunrise and sunset, with the mountains on one side and the town on the other. Even if you’re out exploring during the day, make time to come up here—it’s worth it. We were lucky enough to meet Tola, one of the owners, in person, while Patrick was always just a message away on WhatsApp. Their hospitality was next-level—not just friendly, but genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience in Kampot. Need a scooter? They’ll sort it. Have a question? They’ll answer before you’ve finished typing. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like staying with friends who happen to be excellent hosts. A small but brilliant touch was the Welcome Book in our room. Now, I’m a logical guy—former project manager—so I really appreciated how well-thought-out and practical it was. It wasn’t just another generic guidebook; it told the story of the owners, explained how everything in the room worked, and laid out the best of Kampot in a way that made planning effortless. Everything, it’s a family run place, tucked away at the edge of the city. It’s an easy Tuk Tuk ride into town and was only around a dollar each way. They have their own scooters to hire for $6 a day if you want to go sightseeing. I spent a fair amount of time on the veranda just reading and relaxing. The bed was really comfortable and the bedding smelt amazing, this family are obviously committed to making your stay as enjoyable as possible
