You must stay here during your time in Kandy! The location is great, the rooms are super clean & comfortable, the manager goes above & beyond to make your time in Sri Lanka as smooth as possible. There is a really nice garden that catches good sunlight - despite being in a main city, this hostel makes you feel like your in nature.

The room was very spacious with a lot of attention to detail, the hotel was very clean and modern, quiet with a beautiful garden. It’s a fantastic hotel! The owner is very kind and polite, took care of me the whole time and also helped me to get to his hotel. Room was excellent, very clean, modern and with wonderful view of the entire city. I felt very good there and I highly recommend this place.

We booked quite last minute and arrived in the evening, we were picked up and welcomed with a traditional Sri Lankan meal cooked by the amazing nana Nandi. The rooms are clean and the surroundings beautiful and quiet (apart from the beautiful nature sounds). Sudesh the owner is super helpful and tries to accommodate you in every need (from a Kandy tour, tuktuk service, or help by choosing a taxi driver, to a nice chat with a beer). The family has a lovingly warmth which makes you feel welcomed and at ease. We stayed here with our kids, but I would also recommend it to couples without. The fact that there are (almost) daily cooking classes makes it easy to meet people. To summarize: a recommendation from my heart! We will meet again <3
