The hosts were so incredibly lovely, everything that we needed was provided. The directions to the place were very clear and simple to follow. The added bottles of water and chocolate were a great surprise. And if you like star gazing this is definitely the place to be!!

The accommodation was stunning—an enormous, beautifully decorated, stylish apartment with everything spotlessly clean. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and were genuinely saddened that we couldn’t stay longer. If we visit New Zealand again, we will definitely return and stay here. Beautiful spot, it felt like we were so secluded but easy short drive to town and beach. Having our little dog with us was a bonus! The donkeys were super friendly especially with a few apples. Amazing sunsets! Can get a bit hot in summer facing into the sunset, but we took a fan with us and it was all fine. It was so nice to have the farm eggs and honey.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waiwurrie for many reasons. Firstly, the location is beautiful with the lodge perched on a hill overlooking the picturesque Mahinepua and Dolphin Bays. Secondly, we were afforded wonderful hospitality by our charming hosts, Vickie and Rodger. We enjoyed lively conversation while being served delicious food and their equally good wine. And thirdly, our spacious rooms were very comfortable, quiet, fresh and clean. We walked the nearby the beaches and took the opportunity to hike out to Omiru Trig. Highly recommend a stay at Waiwurrie Costal Farm Lodge, you won’t be disappointed.
