Beautiful authentic house with a lovely courtyard, good equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, nice comfortable living room in a quiet part of Tozeur. Moustapha was very helpful and kind, all the tours he organised for us were absolutely amazing and started on time, we felt very much at home and we’ll be back any time soon.

Staying here is like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert.. magical. Everything was great. Beautiful decor with an artistic touch , neat and tidy , ample towels for shower and swimming , personal attention from the staff , comfortable beds , spacious room, plugs at your bed to charge your phone, strong water pressure in the shower and strong air conditioning. It’s quiet and peaceful with zero noise from the bustling town yet you are a 10min walk from the Medina. We arrived on the public holiday for their prophets birthday and were treated to the special dessert that all Tunisians eat on this day. Breakfast was a treat with our table set up outside under the trees and for the coffee lovers , great coffee. I highly recommend staying here.

This hotel was beautiful and quiet and we loved staying here among all the date palms. We had a lovely dinner by the pool, which would have been nice for swimming in warmer weather. Wish we'd had time to use the cinema room as well!

If you ever find yourself wanting to visit the utterly charming desert town of Tozeur (which you absolutely should), there is only one place you should spend your time. Dear Fatima is a beautiful brand new guest house. European standards prevail here and everything is in top condition. The owner and staff are professional and also very welcoming. They offer a good Tunisian dinner at an extra cost which is great if you don’t fancy venturing into the local streets to find a safe supper. Mahdi is a great host. Good (english) communication through WhatsApp and he met us at the property to welcome us and gave us some tips for restaurants and activities. Make sure you ask him for his tours in Tozeur! It's amazing to visit the oases around the area. We visited the local carpenter that built all of the wooden furniture you see in the pictures and followed Mahdi's recommendations for a great tunesian dinner. The house is very big and comfortable. Good wifi, clean, decent shower and bathroom and a useful kitchen. There is a nespresso machine but you will have to find some capsules in a Carrefour. We just used the instant coffee from the local street shop.

The bungalows is a special place, in a palm grove. You feel like you are entering a different world, silent and beautiful. The one room apartment is new which is great because it means everything inside is new too and very well functioning. The ambience is cozy and chic, without being pretentious. A small kitchen corner with a fridge was very appreciated by us. There is heating/cooler to adjust the temperature to your own preferences, if needed. And outside is just wonderful. There are only palms all around for the cultivation of dates. And a pool that makes the atmosphere even more magic.. and can always be used to take a bath! We were a couple with a 3 year old kid who enjoyed running around the property a lot. We were very spoiled during the whole stay by the owner. He was able to accommodate all our needs with grace and warmth and at the same time to leave us our privacy. The place is 5 min away on foot to a spot where you can rent a dromedary for a walk or the quad for a drive. It is perfect to enjoy the sunset too! Going the other way, you can walk toward the center of Tozour (which is not super close on foot but you can reach it very quickly on a carriage!). With a 10 min walk you can also reach a lovely museum on the history of the country which I would recommend. Ah and in front of the bungalows there is a lovely cafe, where you can get several different beverages. Beautiful spot too to relax !!
