We had a wonderful stay in this lovely guesthouse with a very kind and welcoming family. The hosts were always in touch via WhatsApp and made sure we had everything we needed. Since the house is a bit off the main hiking trail, they picked us up by car when we arrived and brought us back to the trail the next day — free of charge. We had an excellent, generous dinner with chacha and wine, and a delicious breakfast the next morning. Elos also helped us the following evening by driving all the way to Ushguli to pick us up and take us back to Mestia for 50 GEL (оn the way, he even treated us to ice cream and lemonade). Thanks to this, we could leave our backpacks in his car for the day and hike the final stage from Iprari to Ushguli with just light daypacks — which made a big difference! Highly recommended — we felt truly taken care of.

Gamarjoba Guest and Art House se encuentra en Ushguli, a 43 km de Museo de Historia y Etnografía, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We took a wrong way and were stuck in the small rough village road and got lost. The owner showed up and drived us to his guest house. Actually the house is at the upper side of the village and the drive way is much better and easy to go. The day after, my friend had a leg bone broken, again the owner came to meet us at the glacier and arranged the ambulance and rescuers. He's so genuine and did everything for us. We are deeply moved by his kind support. BTW, the house is neat with a kitchen, the food his mother made is great. Its location is a plus, just a few metres away from the church where you'll have a great view of the sunset. We definitely will choose to stay here again.

Hotel Lumi’s owners, Michael & Nino and their family, were very accommodating, friendly and immediately responded to our inquiries & requests! They made sure of our comfort & helped with anything we needed: carrying our luggages up & down the stairs, to/from our room, & helping with our transport to the bus station & next destination. Hotel Lumi is fairly new, as such, everything is super clean, very spacious, beautiful huge closet, a table & 2 chairs, 2 of the most comfortable beds ever & cleanest and warmest bed linens!!!! It even has towel warmer in the bathroom & an A/C-Heating unit besides the heater by the window!!! Nino cooked us 2 fabulous breakfast, extra charge. There’s even a restaurant in front of the hotel, shopping mall & grocery stores within 10-minute walk. Hotel Lumi is the best private accommodation we’ve ever had in Georgia - fr Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, & Mestia so far!

This is such a lovely guest house. The owner Taona is the sweetest woman & although she doesn’t speak English you can communicate & feel her warmth. Both her children speak good English. Her breakfasts are amazing. Home cooked, plentiful, varied & so delicious. We had a comfortable triple room at the back with a view up to the hill behind with cows & horses grazing. It is a small farm with a lovely rural feel just outside the town of Mestia so very peaceful. There is a great restaurant in the town which Taona recommended. We had good walks & drove to Ushguli which was beautiful. I woukd 100% Recommend this guest house & it’s very good value. Thank you Taona. ❤️
