We are retired and have travelled the world extensively. We know when a hotel is not up to expectations (and have walked out of a couple after just a few hours). This place was exceptional. I just reread the past comments - accept what all the good ones say at face value because they reflect our experience there. Irini was exceptional on the front desk and Elizabeth, who cleaned our room every day, was exceptional! When I read each negative review I wondered if they are referring to a different hotel. If those people were expecting a $500 a night experience they should have stayed in a $500 a night hotel - there are lots to choose from on the island. Having a rental car I found there was always a parking space to return to without having the negotiate the narrow streets of the inner town. My wife’s main criteria is a comfortable bed and a clean room and environment. Mohitero got 5/5 on both. We really enjoyed the gardens and the birds and the peace and quiet. We would have no hesitation returning. It was a nice place to come “home” to after a busy day. The pictures on Booking reflect what was saw while there.

The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. They provided bottled water, toiletries, and separate towels for the pool. The pool area was also immaculate, it looked like a travel brochure picture every single day. They have a bar by the pool where you can buy drinks and food. It's very reasonably priced and was honestly better than the food and cocktails at very expensive restaurants: delicious and really well presented. It's a really short walk to central Fira and is even closer to a supermarket and a place to get good gyros (Golden Grill). Last but definitely not least, the staff we great! They were really helpful and attentive, but would also have a bit more of a friendly chat which made the vibe comfortable and friendly. I can't believe the quality of the stay we had, especially for the price... I'd expect to pay twice as much for that quality. I'm blown away by everything.

Nice restaurant just down the hill and a bus stop just a 15 minute walk away made it very convenient. Having a pool and beach access so close was amazing.

This family-run property is designed in the traditional style of Santorini. Each of the rooms features en-suite bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The staff is very friendly, they gave me lots of recommendations and advice on how to get around. The location is perfect if you're looking for a chill place near the beach.
