This was one the best hotels i stayed in my time in Sri Lanka. The staff was great and the owner even more so. I did a tour with him through the knuckle forest reserve and it was absolutely beautiful. He also knew a great deal about the places we went to and the local community. The hotel was clean, had a good vibe and the vieuw from my room was amazing. 2 other rooms where being built and he had plans to put in a pool. If this place gets known, its going to be packed with tourist. I would highly recommend this place and if i ever go to Sri Lanka again, this hotel is going to be at the top of my list.

Our stay at A Frame Riverston was truly exceptional. The ever-changing climate, influenced by the area's higher elevation and unique topology, provided a mesmerizing experience. From cool misty mornings to clear, refreshing afternoons, each moment was filled with wonder. Even during sunrise, the weather remained comfortable, adding to the overall charm of the location. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Their genuine care and dedication to providing a top-notch experience reflected true Sri Lankan hospitality. Additionally, the view from the place was incredibly interesting. We were treated to vistas of mountains, paddy fields, and pristine natural environments. It truly felt like a natural and green heaven, offering a serene and calming atmosphere. Staying here felt like a form of meditation, enhancing the relaxation and rejuvenation of our vacation. Overall, our stay at A Frame Riverston was nothing short of magical, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat amidst stunning natural beauty.

Fue increíble compartir con ellos, conocer su filosofía de vida y su proyecto de comunidad consciente. Nos enseñaron mucho en poco tiempo, y nos hicieron partícipes de experiencias muy especiales, como ir al templo en la noche de luna llena, hacer yoga, disfrutar de su gastronomía e ir a bañarnos al río en la montaña. Solo tenemos palabras de agradecimiento hacia esta familia por haber podido vivir esta mágica experiencia, y les deseamos todo lo mejor para que su proyecto se expanda y consiga aportar luz al mayor número de conciencias...

Wild Glamping Knuckles - Thema Collection, que tiene vistas a la montaña, dispone de alojamiento con jardín, terraza y restaurante a unos 32 km de Estadio Internacional de Críquet de Pallekele. So peaceful!! This was a true highlight of our trip. The beds in the tents were soooo comfy, we ended up extending for two extra night. We went on a really great hike with our guide Banu too who was so knowledgeable, it really topped off the experience for us. If you’re looking for something off the tourist track and really in nature this is definitely the place to book.

I took a wrong turn along the way and got slightly lost, but that’s the best thing that can happen to you in Sri Lanka. 🙂 Upon arrival, you’re greeted by tastefully decorated interiors and the inviting aroma of sumptuous food. The fresh air and tranquil surroundings create a soul-cleansing experience that lingers long after your stay. The excellent service adds to the charm, making every moment feel special. At Gammaduwa Bungalow, time seems to stand still, inviting you to cast away your cares and immerse yourself in the natural beauty and serenity of this hidden gem.

The Inn At Matale se encuentra en Matale, a 35 km de Centro comercial Kandy City Centre y a 35 km de Estadio Bogambara. Ofrece alojamiento con jardín y wifi gratis, además de parking privado gratis. Lovely hosts, absolutely helpful, kind and genuine. Best English speakers we met during our 3 weeks stay in Sri Lanka. The room was really clean and quiet.

The location has a history, and the property was only modified as a guest house while keeping the old design. It is unique because of that. The area around the property is very quiet and very green, with many different types of trees/spices. The staff was very friendly, especially the manager (Christo). He contacted us before we arrived to make sure everything was arranged. The food was delicious, and the price was reasonable.
