The service at Orgánica Yoga Shelter is exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. Yann’s dedication to creating a welcoming and tranquil environment truly shines through in every aspect of the shelter. Don’t forget to book an incredible massage during your stay! It's worth noting that a 4x4 vehicle is required to reach Orgánica Yoga Shelter due to its remote location, but the journey is well worth it. Very peaceful location and stay, spacious communal kitchen, comfortable room with good shower, Glenda and Chalo (fluent in English) were excellent with plenty of information about tours, restaurants and things to see, pool was great for a refreshing dip at the end of the day, Bela the dog is very friendly, I would definitely stay here again

The tent and the facilities were very well made. Everything was comfortable and working, tent was very nicely decorated.. It was clear that the comfort of the guests was the priority for Wilma and Franco. They were both so welcoming. Mosquito repellents and nets were provided. Everything was very clean. Only cold water shower but it is so hot there that you would not really want warm water anyway. Howler monkeys in the trees on the property and parrots flying above the trees. There was a resident iguana sleeping under my tent and greeting me in the morning, but it was just a little shy so I kept the distance. Also a coati was roaming near the tents. Very peaceful area to just be one with the nature, only sounds you hear are the monkeys and birds. There is a little hike to the beach. And many activities to choose from in nearby areas in this part of the Nicoya peninsula.

We stayed at the jungle tent for one night as we had arranged to do the Bioluminescence tour with Franco. The location is just perfect, it’s at the end of a long track and is surrounded by forest. The jungle tent was a really good size and it was a short walk to the showers and toilets. The wildlife around the tent was great, we saw a variety of birds, frogs, crabs and howler monkeys. We did the Bioluminescence tour in the evening which was excellent and a really good social with Franco, his assistant and another couple. Afterwards we returned and Franco and Wilma lit a fire for us and joined us for a drink. The reception we received was very warm and Franco and Wilma are lovely people and can’t do enough to help. In the morning we walked to the beach, the dogs joined us and showed us the way. This took around 20 minutes. The beach is wonderful, it’s large and empty. We saw red Macaw there. The visit felt very authentic and a bit of the touristy track which we enjoyed. I highly recommend it.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The food was the best and most delicious homemade cooking, and it was convenient to have the restaurant right on the property. I loved the nature sounds, we could hear and even see monkeys and parrots up in the trees right off our balcony, the overall atmosphere was so tropical and exotic! The nearby bioluminescence kayak tour was a great addition to our stay too. The closest public. beach, Playa Organos, was long and beautiful (just beware there are no free facilities at the beach, there is a bar that charges $2 to use their washroom). Otherwise the beach was very nice, the waves were fun to jump on, there was no crowds and lots of beach space to walk along the water line. Another beach at a nature reserve Curu was about 30 min away driving, but was worth visiting (and paying to get into the park) as you get to see a few families of monkeys all around (just be cautious they'll try to go through your belongings if left unattended in the shade).

    The owners kindly greeted us, gave us a tour of the premesis, and made us feel at home. They set us up for a same day bioluminescent bay tour, which was the highlight of our stay, although the pool was a close second. A great location and value with AC taboot.
