Absolutely Outstanding Experience! Our stay at the Dormero Hotel in Sri Lanka was nothing short of amazing! The staff here is truly the best we have ever encountered – attentive, friendly, and always going above and beyond to ensure a perfect experience. The hotel itself is stunning, with a fantastic ambiance and exceptional hospitality. Without even asking, they graciously upgraded our room because there was availability – such a thoughtful gesture that made our trip even more special. Breakfast was an absolute highlight – delicious, varied, and beautifully presented. The top manager deserves special recognition for being incredibly kind, approachable, and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you, Dormero Hotel, for creating such unforgettable memories for us. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to everyone!

A stunning hotel with beautiful garden/facilities/pool. The staff go above and beyond for you. They made our stay amazing. Delicious breakfast/lunch. They now serve dinner on Wednesdays however it is super easy to get a tuktuk to local restaurants for evening meals. 10/10 recommend. Thanks for having us!

On the way between Hikkadua and Galle u can find a piece of paradise with very friendly family. We get warm welcome and everything that we could expect. We've stayed only one night but Shahan and his family made us feel like a family. Don't hasitate and book ur days in Amaranthe Beach Cabanas!

We felt like home at Aroshina and her family’s beautiful home. The house is located in a nice and quiet area about 15 to 20 minutes walking distance to the fort. Aroshina colourfully decorated the house with lots of love and we really liked all the beautiful exotic flowers and plants. The rooms including separate bathrooms are very well equipped (cupboards, hangers for clothes, table, chairs, van) and super clean. Dinner (on demand) and breakfast was just extraordinary! We can only warmly recommend this accomodation and would come back at any time! Thank you dear Aroshina for making us feel that comfortable!

I recently stayed with my family and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The place had a great atmosphere and the staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool, which we all loved. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were impressive as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay.

From the moment we arrived until our reluctant departure, every aspect of this charming villa exceeded our expectations, creating an unforgettable Sri Lankan escape. Location: 10/10 Nestled in the peaceful village of Pitiwella, just a short and pleasant distance from the historic Galle Fort, Villa Serene offers the ideal balance of tranquility and accessibility. We loved being a mere 5-minute stroll from the beautiful Pitiwella Beach, allowing for spontaneous dips in the ocean and stunning sunset walks. The convenience of nearby local shops for daily needs, coupled with easy access to tuk-tuks and the main bus route, meant we could explore Galle and its surroundings effortlessly, yet return to the serene embrace of the villa. Accommodation & Comfort: 10/10 The villa itself is a true gem. Spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, it felt like a home away from home. We stayed in the one-bedroom villa, which was generous in size (around 1873 sq ft!) and boasted a fully equipped kitchen – perfect for those who enjoy preparing their own meals. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the tropical heat, and the comfortable king-sized bed ensured restful nights. We particularly adored the private balcony with its lush garden views, a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The overall ambiance was one of warmth and genuine comfort. Amenities & Facilities: 10/10 Villa Serene truly goes above and beyond with its offerings. The fast, free Wi-Fi (a speedy 122 Mbps!) was a huge plus, allowing us to stay connected effortlessly. The availability of a washing machine was incredibly convenient for longer stays. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like mosquito nets, a flat-screen TV, and quality linens.

The villa has a beautiful pool with warm water and the property has private gardens with many trees which makes it a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. I'm sad the kids didn't come along because they would love it here! Breakfast was delicious with tropical fruits, some even from their own garden. Location was very peaceful and safe with luscious fauna and flora surrounding the house where you can see monkeys, monitors and squirrels every day. It's like having botanical gardens in the backyard. The room was very well equipt with all the kitchen appliances. The bed was very comfortable with a hard mattress. We were fortunate to be the first guests and the hosts were amazing as well as Nimal, who all went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcomed. Nimal is on site to help with whatever you need, whether this being helping with groceries, organizing transportation or recommending nice places to visit or preparing delicious breakfast. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone whether traveling alone or with family, this is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy your holidays.
