We stayed for the night on our run/walk from Imlil to Tacheddirt (self organised and without a guide). Hassan and his son were such lovely hosts. The terrace had beautiful views and all the food was great. They gave us a tasty sandwich packed lunch. In April it was a little cold at night so Hassan put on the log burner in the upstairs sitting room and we had the option of eating inside. This is a unique stay in the highest village in North Africa and felt far away from the heavy tourism of other areas. A small shop was open for a short time during our stay. We got a bottle of water from Hassan but also water and sweets from the shop.

The owner was extremely nice, and welcomed me directly after entering the village. There was great food, I had a room for myself, and everything was fine.

I mistakenly booked the wrong dates for this accommodation. A refund was not possible, but our host offered us the dates we wanted to stay at no extra charge. He was true to his word! Oukaimeden is a beautiful place. Our host, Rachid, was exceptionally helpful during our short stay. The Gite was basic, but comfortable, and had better WiFi than anywhere we stayed in Morocco this year. Breakfast was good, and Rachid has a small restaurant a few minutes walk away from the Gite where a lovely tagine for dinner is available.

Set in Imlil, Amazigh Family Riad features accommodation with seating area. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also has a restaurant and an outdoor fireplace.

Hassan was an absolute gentleman and a fantastic host, food was excellent, we were hiking in the atlas mountains and Hassan organised guides and extra gear and transport to and from marrakech.Fabulous scenery enjoyed from outdoor terrace.If travelling to imlil you must stay here. I warmly recommend this magical place to everyone. The owner was extremely accommodating and kind to us. Beautiful and cozy accommodation with wonderful Berber accessories. I am extremely satisfied.
