A gorgeous, lush area with beautiful grounds to walk (and see so many amazing birds!), a fantastic common area to spend time in and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Staying here at Nabitunich with Dominic and Rebecca was like staying with family. I’m already planning my return trip in a year or two.

Well this place is paradise, perfect in every way. The location is stunning particularly when looking at the mountains from your balcony first thing in the morning. The restaurant food was very good too at ok prices.

The room was clean and comfortable with lots of space (including a lockbox, desk and somewhere to hang your clothes). The shower was hot which was a luxury! The location is about 10 min walk to the centre of town (it’s at the top of a fairly steep hill) and there are a few restaurants nearby. Sonia who runs the guesthouse was SO kind - she was really flexible when I was delayed arriving due to illness and was always on hand to answer any questions/help organise trips/transport. Would definitely recommend.

Nos encantó todo, es agradable, silencioso, es excelente lugar para estar tranquilos, bien ubicado, las personas son de una sensibilidad extraordinaria. Nos ayudaron en todo momento. Gracias! The beds were comfortable, it was very clean while taken care of, attentive staff, and the location was fabulous. Right by a river, private.

El San Ignacio Resort Hotel está a solo 5 minutos en coche de las ruinas mayas de Cahal Pech. Dispone de piscina al aire libre, spa y vistas fantásticas a la selva. La comida fue riquísima, las personas muy amables, las instalaciones increíbles. Hay un paseo interno para ver iguanas.

Arnold's Guest House, que se encuentra a 18 min a pie de Cahal Pech y a 17 km de El Pilar, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño privado en San Ignacio. The staff were friendly and helpful, we booked our ATM tour through them and it was excellent, as well as a good price. I highly recommend. Also there was coffee, tea juice, fresh bread for toast and fruit all for free!
