Also, the grounds are lovely, very cultural and intimate. The owner Kim showed us around and gave a tour of the two-bedroom cottage and the area. It's Black owned (from an American woman), which I liked and wanted to support. I'm glad I did.

The location was perfect for us since we wanted some peace and quiet whilst still being able to access the national park by boat.

Very comfortable cabin with great kitchen and bed. But the location is unbeatable. Watching the animals from your doorstep is priceless. I would not want to stay anywhere else if I go to Tortuguero.

I loved my stay!! Angie and her daughter Anielka were extremely responsive and attentive! Checking in periodically to see if there was anything I needed. Made me feel very welcomed and at home. The space was large, with a full stock kitchen. The couch in the living room was also very comfortable. During the day, the house could get hot but using the air conditioner in the bedroom it wasn't an issue at all. I really enjoyed how quiet the area was, while conveniently walking distance to the main street of town. So great location!
