La habitación era muy cómoda y amplia, estaba bien ubicada cerca de la estación de buses, lugares para cambiar dinero y lugares para comer. El hotel es muy tranquilo para descansar a la noche. Paa & Michaels Resort tiene vistas a la montaña y se encuentra en Ban San Sai Ngam. Cuenta con restaurante, salón de uso común, bar, jardín, piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año y terraza. Perfect location that is near all the best spots in chiang Rai like the golden triangle. And for other locations like the white temple, it's 1 hour away on a bike or by car. The resort itself has a clean pool, some of the best breakfast you'll eat (evening food as well despite a relatively small menu), peace and quiet at night, views in the day, and pleasant staff.

Viang Yonok Hotel, Restaurant, Sports Club está en Chiang Saen, a 18 km de Museo del Opio del parque del Triángulo de Oro, y dispone de alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis,... the entire place and Staff were fabulous. AND the owner provided an awesome tour of his private Museum ! Room was superb. Beds very comfortable. MUCH attention to detail was in abundance throughout the room.

First I thought I'd stay for just 1 night to rest before going to Laos, but ended up staying for 2 nights on my way to Laos and 1 night on my way back. What I liked: - you have a separate private house in a beautiful landscape - there is a desk/table and wifi, good for us working nomads - there are all the usual amenities like good AC, kettle, coffee, toiletries, water etc. - TV works great, I watched some films from my usb drive. - there is an outside kitchen with fridge, microwave, dishes etc. - cute cats and dogs on the territory - the host is so kind and helpful. He offers transfer to and from the border and the bus station, and also he agreed to keep my scooter for the time of my trip to Laos I would gladly just chill there for a week (if only I had the time). Next time I'm around, I'll definitely stay there again.

Communication was excellent, the place felt homely and it was close to the market, shopping centre, BIG C and 7-11.

The Garden House, que tiene vistas al jardín, ofrece alojamiento con terraza y balcón a unos 3,4 km de Mercadillo nocturno del sábado de Chiang Rai. Reasonably stocked fridge, better than an average hotel. Of course you need to share the cost to replenish it. Fully furnished property, fully equipped kitchen even with a washer and a dryer. A pouch of liquid detergent was there ready for us. I didn't check if it had a dish washer as we didn't need one. Full set of cutlery and table ware but we only found out in the last minutes as we didn't have enough time to check all the amenities. A perfect residential area as we preferred. If you drive it is a perfect 4 bedroom homestay for the price. Basically, it is a second home and has everything you need for your stay. Now, I am sitting in a hotel room of another town and regretting not staying in a homestay as there is no ice or ice tray in the hotel's measly fridge. 😕

ซือรี ก๊ะฉิ - Suri Kachi ที่พักดอยช้าง está en Ban Huai Khai, a 31 km de Templo Blanco de Chiang Rai (Wat Rong Khun) y a 40 km de Torre del Reloj de Chiang Rai. This property is outstanding. The view is just sublime, we saw the best sunset. The room was well organised with a lovely and cosy atmosphere. Decorated with excellent taste ! It is romantic, secluded and family like. The owners are lovely, the food delicious, we recommend the experience!

The Estretto Resort, que se encuentra a 23 km de Estatua del Rey Mengrai y a 24 km de Wat Phra Singh, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño privado en Chiang Rai. Large clean room, good bathroom with good water pressure. Very good restaurant.

Rai Phuchat está en Ban Pa Thon y cuenta con vistas a la montaña, piscina al aire libre, jardín, terraza y bar. La habitación en casa particular ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. This part of Chiang Rai doesn't get many tourists, but that doesn't mean it's not worth visiting, and this homestay is a great base. Loved the beautiful gardens and pool area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Most of all, what really stood out for me was the attentiveness of the staff. During my stay, the restaurant was not open, which could have been a real problem. But receptionist Bom drove me out to a good local eatery to make sure I didn't go hungry. I also very much enjoyed the company of permanent resident Mark. Always good-humoured and helpful, Mark was generous with sharing tips and directions and background on local customs. I definitely hope to repeat the experience.
