We were actually surprised that we enjoyed Dubai as much as we did. We had 2 full days but could easily have stayed another 2 full days especially as it was it was a lot bigger than we realised. We did find food to be very expensive however & it was difficult for me to find Gluten Free food. With the weather being fine all the time it was really nice to be able to lounge around the hotel pool & more time to do this as well as sightseeing would have been a bonus. We used the metro which we highly recommend. It goes to & from the airport & if you buy gold class tickets there is plenty of room for suitcases without being squeezed into a carriage. There are really helpful ticket & customer services staff at every station to help you as well. This is one of the best places I stayed in Dubai. The apartment is beautiful, with a comfortable bed, a nice high desk to work from, plenty of room in the cupboards, a great kitchen and bathroom. Host was extremely helpful and communicative, an excellent host. The parking is easy and covered. The pool is beautiful, with very comfortable sun lounges, perfect to relax after a long day at work. Great camp with the BEST staff.
Great camp with the BEST staff. They tend to your needs around the clock. My only drawback is the restroom situation. The toilet and shower is in one very small stall. Had to hang change of clothes in different stall to keep the shower from wetting them. Another drawback is COLD showers. No hot water at all even after letting it run for some time. My husband caught a slight cold because the desert gets cool in the evening, and the walk back to the tent from the cold shower did him in. Also on my booking confirmation , it said there would be a bidet in the tent. There was not one, but I think that is best. Not mad about that at all. On a good note, we really enjoyed the dishes we were served with such great variety. The entertainment was nice. We booked for two nights, but one night is more than enough. I'd highly recommend, creating your itinerary prior too arrival, to save you time in traffic and try to stay in the one area.
