Ebbs is perfectly located for day trips to Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck. We discovered Thiersee, with suggestion from the hotel, and had an amazing experience tobogganing down the snow slope onto the frozen lake. A wonderful hotel! All the stuff very friendly and helpful! We going skiing in Söll every year and usually staying directly in Söll. But this time everything was booked out and we stayed in Panorama Royal, which is about 12 minutes drive from the ski lift in Söll. We didn't regret it at all. It was very relaxing Hotel after day skiing. The view over the mountains is absolutely stunning! The food was excellent! Very clean swimming pool. Rooms are very comfortable. We only spent the night there on our way from Rome to Hamburg on the train and were very happy we chose to stay there instead of Innsbruck or Munich. A nice quiet country town, a good location outside the city, and no parking problems. Amazing view of the mountains. The hotel restaurant served us faithfully throughout our stay to our satisfaction and hunger. Enjoyable hiking in the countryside, a bit of a mosquito problem in the evening and at night may be due to the countryside, cows, sheep, and pasture. The fortress is pretty exciting with the Kaiser's tower and historic prison cells especially. The so-called old town is a handful of houses, you can literally walk it in 3 minutes. My girlfriend and I recently stayed in an apartment in Ebbs for three days and had a wonderful experience. The apartment was spacious, and modern and had all the necessary amenities. The location was excellent, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and close to Kufstein.
