- From $215.30 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 5,168 reviewsRoom was very nice, liked the modern finishings with automatic curtains and blinds. The bed was VERY comfortable and the view was lovely. Downstairs at the casino the bar staff were lovely and remembered the drink I'd previously ordered which was a nice touch. The cafe did a beautiful breakfast and the staff there were polite and helpful.Guest review byJason MichaelUnited States

We stayed in the three bedroom unit and had two beds and two baths together, then living space, then master bedroom and ensuite at other end of unit. Could easily accommodate a family plus grandparents or a family plus another couple or small family.Guest review byAshleyNew Zealand

Fantastic city: comfortable, vibrant, wealthy, with lots of green spaces, benches and parks. Extremely clean, with amazing "South Bank", riverside facilities, and dirt-cheap transport. Incredible investment levels into facilities that serve the public. An example to poor, dirty, run-down London of how to credibly serve its residents. Were I 30 years younger, I would pack my things., leave London without one look back and move to Brisbane in a flash, if it took me.Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Cairns is an amazing place to visit.
Cairns is an amazing place to visit. Weather was great and we were able to attend a conference as well as explore Cairns and surroundings including a trip to Port Douglas, Train trip to the mountain and swimming at popular beach and swimming place in Palm Cove. We stayed in central Cairns in a clean and reasonable place. Our nightly visit to the Food Market Court adds fresh and delicious meals to our menu.Guest review bySekoveAustralia - 10.0

We wandered around Queen's Gardens at dusk and enjoyed gorgeous floral displays and sight of Toowoombians enjoying the park. Afterwards discovered great Middle Eastern restaurant: El Attar Middle Eastern Grill. Food size was ample, value was good and flavours were fantastic - best we have had after 1 month of travelling in Australia, Brisbane to Port Douglas and back, some in higher end restaurants. The restaurant is casual, staff are friendly and as said, the food was phenomenal. One suggestion is that it is BYO, so if you want a glass of wine with dinner, bring your own.Guest review byNigelCanada - 10.0
I can understand why this is a busy holiday destination!
I can understand why this is a busy holiday destination! Beautiful town with great restaurants and a superb 4 mile long beach (subsequently named ;-)). The town has such a relaxed feel about it and one could easily laze away the day at a cafe or beach, or take a ship and go out to explore the reef! I will definitely head back for a longer stay in the future!Guest review byDelanoSouth Africa - 10.0

The waterfront on the Firzroy River in the city and Mt.Archer are both worth a visit as well as the heritage buildings in the city centre. I attended a cricket game at Harrup Park, which I had never been to before. Google maps made it easy to find and the facilities are amazing. One afternoon, I walked the Mackay Bluewater Trail. It was interesting and I felt safe on the trail.Guest review byKENAustralia - 10.0

I travelled to Hervey Bay for the Whale Watching and wasn't disappointed. I took three tours on three different boats and saw whales on all three outings, some very close to the boat. We also saw sea turtles, dolphins and sea birds. The weather was perfect, with mainly sunny days and light winds during my stay. Access from Brisbane was easy and the roads were good and well maintained. There are plenty of good food options and cafes opened early (5:30am near where I was staying) so you can grab a hearty breakfast early and head off for the day to maximise your time in the area. Recommended.Guest review byKenAustralia
