Fred's Hotel was next to the railway station and opposite the bus station. This enabled us to travel to Zurich by train and walk to the hotel. Several restaurants are also conveniently located in this area. The close proximity of the bus station enabled us to participate in 2 excellent sight seeing tours without any hassles. This stay was disappointing because of room issues. When one arrives after a long overseas flight, I expect and need nice accommodations. This time the Radisson disappointed. Room was small, drapery was drooping, trash in bathroom from previous guest and clean but shabby duvet cover. I would not complain but this room was supposed to have been an upgraded purchase by me then the hotel supposedly upgraded my upgrade. Not an upgrade in any way. We rented a car to enjoy Switzerland and I can tell you that the roads were nice and well documented.
