We stayed in Villa 100 , on beachfront which we were so impressed with. It was huge !. Had its own private entrance onto beach right by lagoon , a front open lounge / dining area with roof , that looked out on stunning views of lagoon and beach : no other thatched cottages/ villas either side , so very private. Next to pool . Kitchenette area was well stocked with coffee machine , fridge , freezer , electric plug in hob , basic kitchen equipment. Bedroom was huge , with great air con and also ceiling fans , with very large double shower ensuite and separate toilet. The ambience of the resort is very friendly , all staff in restaurant were lovely . Food is exceptional at night and at breakfast. Options to walk down beach from here to other resort bars if needed. Their Cultural Island Feast with dancing performance & music was incredible . A huge buffet to help yourself from and live music , Polynesian local dancing. We loved staying at Tamaru . The Manager checked on everyone staying which was great customer service. Highly recommend this place .

Simon is an amazing host . He picked us from airport and showed us around the island. We didn’t hire a car so without him it would be so hard to get around the island. He’s also very knowledgeable about the island . We’ve went on a ride and he talked about each village, some famous for crab , some famous for rugby players.

Surrounded by lush coconut trees, the entire house exudes a peaceful charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the close proximity to the beach—just a short walk away. It’s hands down one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited, with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters that made every moment there magical. The house is fantastic—spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped to provide a cozy and comfortable experience. The cool sea breeze and the thoughtful layout of the house ensured we were always comfortable. It’s clear that Vaa and Joliene have put great effort into making Are Kapakapa a home away from home for their guests. Another highlight of our stay was exploring the fruit trees around the property. The coconuts were a delightful treat, perfect for a refreshing snack after spending time at the beach. Every aspect of Are Kapakapa reflects the love and effort that Vaa and Joliene pour into their hospitality. The combination of the peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and personal touches made our stay truly special. Whether you’re enjoying the serenity of the house, savoring fresh coconuts, or soaking up the beauty of the nearby beach, it’s an experience that stays with you. Amazing newly renovated bungalows right on the beach. Whale watching from the shore. Everything i wanted and away from everybody else but close enough to get into town easily. Maggie the host was super helpful and met us at the airport, arranged a motor scooter for us and then dropped us back at the airport.

We were picked up on arrirval by Cheran She greeted us and our short ride to Tai Roto she told us all the info we needed to know about our stay. The grounds there are Immaculate, beautiful gardens and breath taking views of the lagoon. Our room was perfect, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful right down to the vanity. Staff there were all so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious.

Ned and Greta are the best hosts in the Cook Islands anyone could ever ask for. They provide the best service and go out of their way for their guests. The rooms and facilities are the best in comparison to other accommodations on Aitutaki. The place is fully furnished and has everything a home would need. The place definitely feels very warm and "homey", so you will never feel homesick😂 Definitely the best value for your money and I would recommend this accommodation to everyone in the world
