So full of character with blue shutters, a gorgeous staircase and a stylish entrance that give it a very boutique feel. The atmosphere is very romantic and the rooms are clean and chic. Located in the old town of Limassol there are plenty of fabulous restaurants and bars a stones throw away, as well as a short walk to the more modern harbour and beaches. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant and bar are stunning places to eat, drink and relax. There is even a stunning olive tree in the middle of the dining room. Secure parking on site available too which is a bonus. The hotel is charming, everything is clean and the room are fabulous. We chose one of the rooms with the Jacuzzi and it was so worth it. We turned off all lights, light up all the free candles around the room and had a very romantic time. Platres is one of my favourite mountain villages in Cyprus. it has a lovely vibe and many restaurants and cafes to choose from. I recommend Pendeli Hotel for a luxurious stay or forest park if looking for a very budget friendly stay. Petit Palais is one of the oldest hotels in the square and is loved by locals and tourists. EnPlatron is one of my favourite Taverns offering great traditional dishes and live music on weekends. Kaledonia Tavern is also a favourite local tavern so make sure to give it a try Cleopatra Bistro is a favourite for modern dining and deserts and beverages. So amazing to still be able to find genuinely authentic remote villages without them being so commercialised. I felt like I had travelled to a completely different world. We love Omodos as a stay over place ie one night. The village is beautiful with a lot of history. In my opinion it’s one of the nicest villages in Cyprus. Full of history too with a small free museum that is extremely interesting. The village is small so you can walk around it in a very short time and it’s so beautiful you really should walk around. For night life, most restaurants and the bakers close around 6.30pm ish. There are a couple of places that open til midnight on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Agros village is a perfect place to escape from busy city life for a couple of days and to enjoy the tranquility of traditional village lifestyle, walk the narrow streets, with beautiful , authentic architecture, meet locals, try local food and of course to recharge yourself with nature and mountain sceneries. Potamitissa itself doesn’t have things to do. However, villages such as Pelendri, Agros, Kyperounta are near by and have plenty of things to do.
