It was a pleasure staying at Nour El Balad. It’s beautifully decorated and feels very authentic. It’s quiet and peaceful, the staff were friendly and the food was amazing. We had both breakfast and dinner which I highly recommend. The surrounding area is beautiful and the locals are very nice. Highly recommended for when you’re visiting the sights on the West Bank.

Said and his staff were really nice and professional! Such a nice hotel, view from the roof terrasse, great food, + they helped to.organise guided tours, taxi tonthe airport, everything was perfect. Thanks Said (and also thanks to Mahmoud our very knowledgable guide for 2 days in Luxor!)

Great view overlooking Habu temple, a genuine highlight on the west bank neglected by the big travel companies. Great night sky. Even dinner served in house on demand. Very kind reception by the hosts. Hotel frequented by archeologists.

Pharaoh's Hotel was absolutely lovely. The owner Refaet was such an amazing host. He was very attentive and can organise anything you like. The location is right across from the Valley of the Queen's and Worker's. The food was excellent and absolutely generous portions. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe and had a great time. In winter it is cold at night so just ask for extra blankets. The water in my room was hot and I had plenty of shower time before it started cooling down. The view from the rooftop is breath taking too! Don't let the out of the way location deter you, this is a great hotel!

Excellent service from all team members especially Mohamed and Ahmed, the food is excellent, the service is excellent, the garden is excellent and the rooms and bed are very comfortable. The historical character of the place makes you feel like you are in a royal palace.

Our stay in this hotel was fantastic. The staff got in contact with us before arriving in Luxor and they were all the time answering to us. The dinner was the best meal we had in Egypt in two weeks. Local lovely food. The room was really big, we had a family room, with two toilets. And the room was so pretty, you feel like in an Arabian palace. The terrace in the roof was also very nice. We could see the air balloons in the early morning and later we had a very good breakfast too. And the sunset is a little peace magical moment. Silence and dessert. Totally recommendable.
