- From US$239.89 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,310 reviewsThe view from the room was peaceful and amazing, giving straight on the Loch Lomond. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, the arrangement for a Prosecco bottle on arrival was waiting for us as asked. The bed was super comfy as well. The staff was really friendly, they even helped us with some complementary rolls & coffee to take away, as we were leaving really early to hit the road, and couldn't be there during breakfast hours. I will absolutely recommend.Guest review byCharleneFrance

Oban is our place to catch a ferry to the islands and where we land on return. It is a busy town, the harbour and Dunollie being our chief interest the short time we are there, watching the ferries and other vessels sailing off or returning to harbour is always a pleasure. As such it always has an air of excitement about it, the anticipation of a ferry journey amongst and to beautiful islands. Therefore it is always a pleasure to be in Oban.Guest review byAlisonUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I took a fishing rod and on the first night had bbq mackerel on the banks of Loch lomand as its very close. The hills are walking distance from the hotel so on the second day we walked up Ben ime. The views are spectacular if you have not been to the west of Scotland you willl be impressed and the location is so close to Glasgow, difficult to believe a large city is so close.Guest review byDr BeeUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Tobermory was quaint with a variety of shops and cafes. We were there for just one day and visited the distillery, then walked around the coast to the lighthouse. We actually stayed outside of Tobermory but thought the village would have been a better location. Unfortunately we could not get accommodation there.Guest review byJacquelineUnited Kingdom - 10.0

There is so much to see and do with something for everyone to enjoy. We did a lot of walking. We went to Rothesay Castle, St Blane's Chapel and the caves at Dunagoil, all worth a visit. Bute Museum is a must see with some amazing displays and Gary who is so helpful. A walk up Canada Hill was good but difficult to find.Guest review byShields - 10.0

This was just an overnight stop on our way to Islay from Glasgow - we took an afternoon bus to Tarbert and got private transport to Kennakraig ferry terminal the morning after. The town was lovely, with a nice castle and a couple of good restaurants as well as a pub with plenty of whisky options. We might have even stayed a bit longer had we known it was such a lovely place.Guest review byManuel E.Poland - 8.0

Kintyre is absolutely gorgeous - so beautiful, unspoilt, rugged and wonderful. Campbeltown used to be a little run-down but it was looking pretty good with lots of independent shops, two distilleries and a busy yacht harbour. Campbeltown is a good base if you need buses and amenities and for shopping in supermarkets.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Regular ferries.
Regular ferries. Lots of catering and pubs and quirky shops. Beautiful old churches and regular activities in the Castle House museum and the Burgh Hall. Swimminig, cinema, supermarkets. Lovely nature trails, walks and climbs within walking distance of town centre.Guest review bySTEVENUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Craignure is beautiful even in poorer weather.
Craignure is beautiful even in poorer weather. If planning to eat out of an evening this would be best booked in advance as there was only one pub serving food near the ferry terminal and they stopped serving at 8pm.Guest review byShaunaUnited Kingdom
