It's been our third summer in a row in this hotel and it's wonderful. Confortable and clean, the hotel made us feel right at home. The staff are very amiable and professional, which makes for a good overall atmosphere. Loved the happy hour at the pool bar! We had a very pleasant holiday, especially this year! The breakfast was great and restaurant team is highly professional, special thanks to Ms Vassiliya, wonderful team member and person. Great food variety and quality. The room was nice and comfortable, bathroom and view are great , the team is really thoughtful. We got complimentary fruits, variety of minibar is amazing in case you have cravings) We stayed at the few places at Halkidiki and is the only where we really wish to get back. Wonderful, modern, comfortable complex between the villages of Metamorphosis and Nikiti, on the way to the second peninsula of Chalkidiki- Sithonia. The property is simply gorgeous. Modern rooms and villas, set on a wooded cliff overlooking the sea. The property has access to its own little beach, with very comfortable chairs and sun beds on a floating platform. Isolated beach. Calm, quiet, serene. Big pool also available, and a workout area. Cozy seating areas with stunning views of the sea for a drink, coffee, or just to chill and listen to the waves. I had the two-bedroom villa, which is very spacious and comfortable. You get your own patio and a little pools, plus views of the communal pool and the sea beyond. The property serves brekafast, but also has a proper restaurant for snacks and dinners. The food was EXCEPTIONAL. A total unexpected surprise. High quality food in a relatively remote setting. No dish was bad. In fact, we dined three nights in a row and quality was consistent. The fresh sauces were wonderful. The deserts were of such amazing quality. The fish and sea food absolutely fresh and delicious. Compliments to the chef. A limited, but good selection of wines. Wonderful staff. Great service. They are exceptionally polite and helpful. Even if something went wrong, it was immediately corrected. A very good crew. Place was clean spotless. It was the perfect, restful vacation I needed. The place exceeded expectations on all levels. Will return.

Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained, with cleanliness that truly stands out in every corner. The staff were exceptional — from the friendly and efficient reception team who made check-in and check-out a breeze, to the restaurant and bar staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. And the food… oh, the food! Delicious, varied, and beautifully presented — every meal felt like a treat. Special mention goes to Terry, who takes care of guests on the beach. He’s not just attentive and professional but also incredibly warm and friendly, making every beach day even more enjoyable. I’m sure I’m leaving out other amazing team members by name, but please know that every single person we interacted with made our stay better in their own way. All in all, it was a truly pleasant and memorable experience, and one that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Mainland Greece at its Best

A 3-pronged peninsula to the south-east of Thessaloniki, Halkidiki is best known for its rolling scenery, beautiful beaches and good watersports.

The westernmost prong is the lively Kassandra peninsula. Sani on its west coast is backed by a pine forest and has beautiful sunsets. On the opposite side, Pefkohori’s fantastic beach and calm, shallow waters make it a popular choice for families. Polichrono and Kalithea to the north have a good selection of Halkidiki hotels on the beach, while Afitos has a picturesque Old Town with cobbled streets.

On the quieter Sithonia peninsula, Metamorfosi is a small village with a Blue Flag beach, while Neos Marmaras has a pretty harbour offering boat trips. On the eastern side Vourvourou is very popular and has lovely views of the offshore islands.

An island just off the Mount Athos peninsula is Amolianí which has rocky coastline and wonderful beaches. Across the water is Ouranoupoli whose small fishing harbour is guarded by a 14th-century tower. On the main part of the Halkidiki region, Stavros and Olympiada both sweep around picturesque bays dominated by the lush Cholomontas mountains.

Ouranopoli is small and nice place. A person could find quiet and cozy places or to be at the heart of the city where are located all the restaurants and bars. Beaches are very nice. The water is crystal clear and most of the beaches are with sand. There are lots of entertainments - boat rentals, diving, etc.

Nikiti is an ideal town for families with children,...

Nikiti is an ideal town for families with children, especially those aged 1–12. Everything is within walking distance. The beach and sea are perfect for kids, and the restaurants are family-friendly. There are also toy machines for children to play with. However, it might be a bit boring for young couples without kids, as there aren’t many entertainment options such as night clubs or disco bars.

If you want to experience real nice place with fabulous sightseeing views long up and down walks with very nice sandy beach at the end of the city and not so far away other beautiful beaches - Neos is jut a right fit! It has the scent of old towns at the cliff but in the same time it has a layers of modernity embroidered throughout the scape. If it is more for young people? Maybe, if you don't like to walk but there is round walk next to the sea side as well... Nice restaurants, small shops just in a proper measure - for vacation that will fulfill you with scents and flavors of Greece.

A wonderful old town, with many restaurants, shops, bakeries, snack bars, a nice pedestrian zone, located at a height above the sea. The local two or three beaches are sandy, rather narrow, the sea has an uneven rocky bottom. Going to the beach is easy, because you go downhill, but on the way back there is quite a climb, so for small children and people with limited mobility it is better to use a car.

A wonderful place right on the shore of the azure Aegean Sea! Our host Ivan was exceptional – always ready to help with advice or organize a restaurant reservation, yet discreet and unobtrusive enough to make us feel completely independent, just like at home. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a fruit basket – a kind gesture from the host. The cleanliness and order of the place immediately stood out. It is truly an oasis of peace and enjoyment by the sea. The water is crystal clear, and the beach is beautiful, lively, and full of different attractions. Evenings in Kallithea offer a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and clubs where you can have a wonderful time. Thanks to this place and our host Ivan, we had a truly amazing and unforgettable holiday!

Decent place to swim and sunbathe, although among the dirtiest I've seen in Greece. The dirt in the sand is never collected, and people vacationing here are not among the most educated, considering the very low prices. It's weird that not even private beach owners (renters?) bother to clean up the sand at their location. The city is always full of cars, and more seem to be coming every minute. I have never seen so many people driving around such a small place in so many cars. The good news is that all the streets are one way, although you'll see a lot of cars going the wrong way, so be careful, especially at the intersections. Also, there is no genuine Greek taverns in the area, only fast food restaurants. This is literally a food industry, with all restaurants craming tables one on top of another to seat as many customers as possible for the shortest amount of time possible. You can eat good food if you follow Google Maps ratings, but don't expect an authentic experience. It's just business. On the plus side, the restaurants are among the cheapest in Greece, which might explain the kind of people vacationing here and their habits (throwing garbage right next to them, never considering the bins nearby).

We were at the very end of the season so it was quiet and lots were closed. You really need to travel around and visit other beachrs in the area. More are prettier than Pefkohori as it is a small town.

Great for families with small children.

Great for families with small children. The thing I didn't like is that accommodations near the beach usually do not have private parking. Our car got damaged by something or someone when we parked on the street.

Sani as a location is nice.

Sani as a location is nice. The marina is maintained nicely and the area around the hotels is lovely. The area is one of the most expensive places in Chalkidhiki. The sea is absolutely lovely, sandy and clean. We went to neighbouring places to eat as we didn’t feel like paying £42 for a plate of risotto.

Small and quiet village with very good houses.

Small and quiet village with very good houses. However one thing that we didnt like were the taverns. Pizza and pasta places in Greece feels a bit like a joke. The few traditional taverns were a bit overpriced and the food was not that good. Not to mention the fish taverns at the end of the village… quite bad. The only place that i can actually recommend is the gyro place in the beginning of Paliouri.
