Great location by the water/port away from the busiest part of the city. The rooms are modern and very nicely furnished, spotless clean. Beds are very comfortable. The nice addition of a jacuzzi made the afternoon very pleasant and relaxing. The staff is very friendly and extremely service minded. Fantastic breakfast that you can enjoy outside the hotel or at the rooftop area. Parking is easy as you can park for free at the port just 100 meters away. Bonus tip: the equally fantastic restaurant Piato is just 30 meters from the hotel. Book both for an unforgettable combination.

We had a wonderful stay, the resort is not only great but its' staff are amazing!! Thanks to the F&b team, especially Niko (he is unique and the best person we met during our stay), Dany, Emanuela and also the GM (Marius). They were always very helpful and smiling all day. The stay was so sweet. Excellent value for the price. The staff were wonderful, especially Johanna, who was incredibly positive and welcoming (apologies if I misspelled your name). The neighborhood was amazing, with a great atmosphere and good breakfast. The location was perfect. Just steps from the sea. Ideal for swimming, enjoying fresh fish, and relaxing on the street in the evenings. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Everything about the property was amazing. it was exactly the kind of holiday we needed. we stayed for 10 days and from the moment we arrived until the second we left the staff were unavailable. it’s a small number of staff so during your stay you see the same people regularly they work extremely hard to make your holiday as relaxing as possible. The food and drinks at the hotel were lovely and we used it for breakfast / room service and around the pool but the location of the hotel is also really close to the town. within a 2-5 min walk you are at some great convenience shops with lots of choice, an AMAZING ice cream parlour called solo gelato and then into the port with loads of restaurants and bars. We left yesterday but we will most definitely be back! thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our holiday the best one yet

    Wonderful. I paid peanuts for a superb quality room on the side street with extremely efficient A/C and had the use of the 8th floor bar until 7pm with reasonably priced drinks and lower floor pool the whole day. I opted for dinner buffet which was good quality food, great price and nice company. this is a real “find” within a few minutes walk from the port . I arrived around 13.45 for a 14.00 check-in and found a foc parking spot in the road uphill from the hotel main entrance (steep hillside) I thoroughly recommend

    Good location in the real Greek town (not tourist trap) with semi-private beach. Food is great (minimal amount of repetitions, good amount of meat and vegetables, fish and seafood present). Friendly, helpful and not annoying personeel. Note: book taxi from the airport, because public bus travel time is almost 3 hours and const 1/2 of taxi price.

    Great place to stay. Sea View room wonderful. Room clean and very comfortable. Location excellent. We visited in the winter when the rooftop wasn’t open so will have to come again and experience that but it looks amazing!     lovely holiday spot, plenty of shops and restaurants, everyone extremely friendly and helpful. About an hour from airport, went to spinalonga and did a few walks, also did the 4 hour train ride which was lovely to see mountains, bit of history etc, wasnt too hot. Both of the bays were good and safe for swimming - one of them a bit pebbly getting in, the other was fine. Supermarkets well stocked. Elounda is flat so easy for walking although pavements a little bumpy. All very accessible and walkable

    The perfect place for peaceful vacation. The city itself is nice but not something extraordinary, but you get the best food in Greece alongside the best beaches in the World! Try Psarropoula, Kakkos and all other beaches in Ferma area. Make beautiful trips to Chryssi Island or Agios Nikolaos (30min), Siteia (45min), Vai, Oropedio Lasithiou etc.

    Visited at the beginning of October and a lot of places beginning to close for the season. Town quiet but pleasant. Unfortunately the ferry to Agios Nikolaos does not run anymore so it’s a long drive if you want to visit

    Mirtos is a small, very friendly village. Great tavernas and bars. Several local shops for necessities. Lovely beach but sea can be a bit rough at times. A trip up to the villages in the mountains is a must. Have travelled around crete for 30 years but the past 7, been coming here. Mirtos has stolen our hearts !!

    Tiny village with a great atmosphere. We attended to a traditional event, with cretese music and dances, and in the area you can find very interesting historical sites. The beaches are very close and nice (the coast is facing east, so there are no waves in case the strong wind is blowing). Our favourite beaches have been Kouremenos for windsurfing and Itanos/Paralia for swimming. The best restaurants we tried are Mythos in the village centre and Elia in the close village of Agathias that you can reach on foot in ten minutes. Pharmacy, restaurants, shops, markets. Here you can find all you need for a perfect stay!

    My Sea-Front room overlooking the Aegean Sea and the pool was amazing! Very clean and roomy! Anthi, the owner and manager, and her staff were so very friendly and welcoming! The location of this property is perfectly situated in the picturesque town of Sisi, close to everything. I can’t say enough good things about this special place.

    The local restaurants are excellent.

    The local restaurants are excellent. We particularly liked the 'Natural foods' one at the turn off for Mocholos, about 4 km from the village. This is a classic family run taverna. However, those in the village were almost as good. In October the place is still lively and pleasant.

    Big sandy beaches. Good tavernas, we liked MeRaki. Istron is a "strip" of a village running along a main road. There are apartments and hotels up the hillside from the road, with not too much road noise. When rough you can hear the sea from your apartment. Apart from the beaches and eating places there is probably not too much else to do.
