We spent one night in the hotel, but Al Monte is a really good place for staying for several days. Peace and quiet are around you there. A traditional stone house with a fireplace, a good greek breakfast, and a friendly hostess! You should get warm clothes because nights are colder in that region of Greece :)

Outstanding location on a beautiful island, lovely hosts, delicious breakfasts. It is my second visit, my friend said she would like to live here. For anyone who enjoys nature and birds - including pelicans, nightingales and hoopoes - it is hard to imagine a more perfect spot. The fish prepared in the restaurant opposite was wonderful. Lovely to stay in a working village so close to the lake. Breakfast was excellent and Valentina attentive to everything we needed.
