The service was excellent and very friendly, the room was nice, we ate at the hotel each night, there was a choice of starters mains and sweets, for a set price depending on how many courses you chose, (very reasonable priced, only €21 for full 3 course plus salad/veg) we had salad all three nights along with either a starter or main, 1st night pasta with venison ragu👍then pork wrapped in parma ham 👌lastly pasta with pesto😁 table wine was nice & very reasonable at €12, also loved the pinot grigio, which is my tipple, along with a few limonchello's and aperell sprites. The bar closed at 10pm but you could sit and enjoying your drinks in the lounge until whenever. We was on motorbikes and there was ample parking space in the garage and loads of fabulous roads /passes to go on, we didn't use the spa as we went out on our bikes, I would definatly recommend this as a place to stay.

Everything was spot on!
Chalet al Foss is pure magic — a place where breathtaking views, exceptional hospitality, and refined luxury come together perfectly. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely cared for. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making every guest’s stay special.
Our room was stunning — elegant, cozy, and designed to take full advantage of the mountain views. Waking up to the sight of the peaks and enjoying breakfast on the terrace was unforgettable. The wellness area and infinity pool are world-class, especially with the mountain backdrop — it truly feels like a dream.
Chalet al Foss isn’t just a hotel — it’s an experience of peace, romance, and pure Alpine beauty. We can’t wait to return.

A sensational place! From the landscapes, the location, these old houses transformed into something amazing. You feel a lot of local culture, if you love the history of the place you will be charged with positive energy. The wellness areas were very relaxing and the infinity pool was great. The rooms look very good and I liked that they leave you a bag for the wellness areas with towels and a bathrobe in the room. We will probably come back, we did not have time to discover everything this place offers.

Great location, stunning views, and a large balcony perfect for breakfast and dinner. The apartment was super clean and tidy, and the staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Guest Card included! We loved Tesero, and the value for money was excellent. Easy check-in and check-out. We'll be back.

Excelent hotel, by the lake. The view from our room was exceptional. We had a free upgrade so we also used the jacuzzi on the terrace, even though it was really cold outside 😊
The staff was very friendly and helpful!

The access to hiking/biking trails could keep you busy for weeks. The history of the area is very interesting in particular the war time history. The area is surrounded by the most incredible mountains/views. The beaches were very popular with lots of people swimming late September.

Great and beautiful country not only lake.
Great and beautiful country not only lake.
Riva, Torbole, Limone and Malcesice are quiet and friendly cities.
Siermione and Peschiera standard to visit.
Enjoy there a nice views from Monte Baldo!
Be aware that parking and travelling time can be horrible i summer season. Plan you trips to soon morning otherwise you spend hours in queues waiting for park space.
For travelling from notrh to south use A22 highway. Travelling from Torbole to Peschiera around lake takes 2 hours (cyclists, willages, queues)

Beautiful small little town, loads of restaurants within walking distance.
The castello di Arco is amazing - worth a visit.
Loved Antica Corte for pizza and carne salada. Really enjoyed SpaghettiHaus for delicious pasta & pizza. Alla Lega for a fancier dinner.
Bar BuonGusto, very close to the apartment was wonderful for my morning cappuccino & brioche, run by a very lovely family, also has other breakfast & meal options.
Close to Lago di Garda if you have a vehicle so great for exploring northern lake towns or for day trips in the Dolomites.

The walk along the lake is lovely.
The town has many cafes and a number of restaurants.
Driving up the mountain behind the town gives spectacular views.
Larger towns, such as Trento, are not far away.

Canazei is located at the southern part of the Sella Ronda domain and you need to take a couple of lifts up to the slopes. There are also buses to get to different parts of the domains, and though they run regularly their frequency changes. Apres-ski life is more on the quiet side in Canazei and while there are a lot of restaurants in the village, we didn't find anything the marked us. There's a great (but pricey) swimming pool and wellness center and shops are OK for such a village.

The walk from the San Pellegrino pass to rifugio fuciada is fantastic as it is pretty flat, not too far (8 km round trip approx) and can be done with snow boots even in Dec/Jan. The scenery of the mountains and warm atmosphere, drinks and food of the rifugio make it an fabulous winter walk. Busses are available from Moena to the pass.

There are three lifts close to the village and buses which are free to guest card holders which go to at least 8 more. There are suggestions of hikes from the top of all these lifts. The website fassa.com is full of information.

Brilliant base for summer hiking.
Brilliant base for summer hiking. We did a three day hike, taking a taxi from Vigo to Fie/Vols, on the other side of the mountains (cost €130 for 4). Staying in a hotel in Vigo allows you to come and go between stays in mountain refuges. Next time we come, we will try to do a Via Ferrata from a refuge to get on top of one of the high peaks.
