- From US$152.59 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 774 reviewsI have a super pleasant experience staying at Dormy Inn Annex Hiroshima. I originally booked Dormy Inn, but when I arrived I was informed that the onsen is under maintenance for a few days during my stay and is offered me to transfer to Annex instead, they even help me book taxi form Dormy Inn to Dormy Inn Annex for free. While my stay in Annex, everything is good and comfortable. Front house staff are super friendly and helpful. Greet me every time when I return hotel. The hotel is a bit far from JR station, yet they offer free shuttle bus in the morning. Well, I have to take a bus in the evening when returning to hotel.Guest review byGladysLiuHong Kong
- From US$92.23 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,819 reviewsIt’s a very cute/quaint hotel about normal size by Japanese standards. For the price I paid I figured it would be a dump but it was actually really nice. The location was good, it’s a pretty healthy walk (about 15-20 mins) to the castle however it’s relatively central to the station and restaurant/bar district. If the walk to the castle is too far for you there are cool old street cars that will get you most of the way there. The cute girl at the front desk was a native English speaker and made the checking in process easy and she also suggested things to do. The bathroom amenities were great.Guest review byMasonJapan
- From US$165.30 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 4,363 reviewsThe best hotel I have stayed in during my stay in Japan. From the moment you enter you are greeted by wonderful and helpful staff. The automatic check-in was something new to me, but I was helped by a lovely lady from the hotel staff who spoke excellent English. We were given a spacious room on the 20th floor with a wonderful view of Hiroshima. The breakfast was delicious and the variety of breakfast options was overwhelming. I will definitely stay here when I come back to Hiroshima!Guest review bypolannachPoland

They would not take any tips even though we insisted that what they had done for us went far beyond the call of duty. Definitely a must visit.Guest review bycarmelMalta

Lots of space, natural light, raw wood furniture, and a big tub/shower room. Great location right next to "okonomimura" with loads of Okonomiyaki restaurants. Fancy cafe in the lobby as well.Guest review byarivaniderSweden

Everyone should go to Peace Park.
Everyone should go to Peace Park. There is so much to see there and it is very nicely done. Warning that children should be prepared for the museum and displays. It was difficult as an adult, but very glad I went. Garden by castle was beautiful.Guest review byNANCYUnited States - 10.0

It isn’t a typical tourist destination from my understanding but the gardens by night are absolutely stunning. The casual is also beautiful and I’m sad to have missed the pottery class. Food and bars also exceptional - everybody is particularly friendly, and perhaps less used to accommodating tourists. Coffee: Empire coffee roasters. Friendly service and outstanding coffee. Food: Hidaya Yanigamachi. Grill your own delicious meat. Drink: ichigin. Super friendly and will involve you in conversations even if you don’t speak Japanese.Guest review byAlexUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Only spent one day at the end of our trip which was enough to basically shop and wander the historical area which I think is the main attraction anyway. Beautiful, scenic, clean, historic. And we loved Yoshii Ryokan in the heart of it all. Definitely worth a visit.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Onomichi is a picturesque and walkable city with lots of charm. You can stroll the vintage shotegai, visit the art museum, enjoy a snack at Onomichi U2, take a temple walk, ride the ropeway, and of course, biking the Shimanami Kaido. The people are friendly and the food and shopping are great.Guest review byLindsayUnited States - 10.0

Miyajima was great for walking around and doing the ropeway to the top. A lot of little eateries and street food- good if you like seafood. Scenic with the giant Tori gate and shrines, woods, deer walking around. Miyajima was one of my favorite spots on our trip to Japan.Guest review byMarciaUnited States - 10.0

It’s a little off the main tourist route, which is why it’s worth a visit. In November the weather was great. It was easy to visit the castle and grounds and a bus trip to Tomonoura was great way to spend the day. A little fishing port famous for being in films and again not too busy. In Fukuyama a visit to the Clock and auto museum is like entering an Aladdin’s cave of wonders. It’s full of the past and not just cars and clocks. Lots of small owner run restaurants as well.Guest review byCostelloeCanada - 10.0
