- From $53.18 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 455 reviewsKerama bp is a well organised guest house. It is very clean and well maintained. The owner offers free shuttles to the beaches and ferry pickup and drop off. The gh has a great shared kitchen area and nice dorms. There are schedules to follow to get where you want to go but is needed for the diff ferries and location drop offs. You do not need to follow the schedule but then you need to find your own way to the beaches etc.The owner also rents snorkelling equipment and other items at reasonable prices. The owner is great with communication and sends out a detailed email about ferry pickup etc once your booking is confirmed. Will be of great help to you if you read it before arrival.Guest review byKevinUnited States
- From $146.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 321 reviewsIyo and his wife, Tomo were incredibly kind and welcoming!! The twin room is well designed (neutral colors, wood & tatami floor are inviting) w private bath (good flow of hot water in shower). Snorkel gear and beach towel are for rent; Just down the road from our favorite Restaurant Marumiya!! They let us store our luggage and take the snorkel gear & beach towel to Furazamami after checkout, as we were heading back on the afternoon ferry.Guest review byYvonneUnited States
- From $152.90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 566 reviewsThe staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they picked us up from the ferry and allowed us to keep the room until our ferry back late the next day. It's a no frills guest house as the price implies, and when taking that into account, was an excellent place to stay.Guest review byNiallIreland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 224 reviewsThe location is great, the room quaint, the facility well maintained, the food plentiful, conveniently prepared and delicious, but what is really amazing is how much the staff cares about your well being. I'd go back there if I ever have the chance to come back to AkaGuest review byErwinFrance
- From $366.96 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 23 reviewsI've been to a lot of hotels in the world and this ranks among the best. The dinners served were Michelin caliber. But what stood out the most for me was the staff. Friendly, helpful, and one of the waitstaff actually took me snorkling to her secret spot. Exceptional!Guest review byRonaldUnited States

Beautiful small island with lots of breathtaking places and spots for snorkeling. The further you move from the Zamami village the more quiet is gets. We went to the more remoted beaches to walk around and were the only people there for couple of hours. Most of the places are easily accessible by bike that can be rented either at hotel or in the main village. There are few restaurant, but always book a table. Often they don't accept guests without reservation, likely due to portion limitations.Guest review byHorakova - 8.0

I was there for five days (planned for seven days to include five days of diving), and my stay was cut short by the threat of a typhoon. Tokashiki is quiet - you have to make your own activities, which are water-based. We found a couple of exceptional restaurants and a food truck with great vibes. Lots of friendly locals.Guest review byPaulaCanada - 10.0

Akemi was such a wonderful host.. she picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off on our return back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Her place was comfortable and had everything we needed. She even has a restaurant close by and another food spot by Ama beach where we were able to get food and snacks. She served delicious, authentic food at her restaurant and I think she was also the chef! Will definitely stay here again!Guest review byArleneUnited States - 10.0
Zamami is quiet and very natural.
Zamami is quiet and very natural. We stayed near the port and there are two nice beaches within walking distance. The town is very quiet ad peaceful. we rented scooters and drove around the island - a great way to see spectacular views. I recommend 3 nights. Be sure to book restaurants for dinner as its a small town and the restaurants fill up quickly. We really enjoyed eating at the hotel but would have liked to have tried a few other places too. The Mexican truck was a great place for lunch (no reservations needed).Guest review byjacqueline - 10.0

The beach here really is one of the best in Japan, maybe one of the best in the world. Crabs and coral and beautiful seashells everywhere. It's so natural. Beautiful white sand and blue sea. Best of all is under the water. Coral gardens, colorful fish, sea turtlesGuest review byChristopherJapan - 6.0

The local authorities definitely need to figure out these two obvious issues including the overprice to tourists and the depression of local residents. Local people are super reluctant to do businesses like always closed restaurants and rude shop owner in furuzamami beach.Guest review by鲁西西China - 10.0
Tokashiki is the largest of the Kerama Islands.
Tokashiki is the largest of the Kerama Islands. There are some great spots for swimming, snorkeling, and diving from the shore, but a boat trip will be required for some of the other spots, particularly the northern portion of the island. The roads are narrow, but it's worth touring around the island on some of the back roads for the various views and wildlife.Guest review byJarrodUnited Kingdom
