It did not matter who you meet; the reception staff, the servers at the restaurant, the pool staff, the housekeeping staff, or the landscaper staff, every one is very friendly and helpful. Mr. Lin, the person at the reception, welcomed us when we arrived at the hotel. He checked-us in and brought us to our room and explained the facilities available in there. Throughout our 7-day stay there, he and his crew answered all the questions we had and displayed the upmost professionalism in carrying out their duties. THANK YOU MR. LIN AND THE RECEPTION CREW FOR EVERYTHING. Mr. Hak, person-in-charge of the restaurant at the hotel is another fine example of what it means to provide 5-star service to his customers. He would greet us with a smile as he ushered us to our table. He and his staff must be commanded for their attentiveness, friendliness, and diligence in ensuring that customers requests (i.e. in getting them their coffee or tea) are met. I am lactose intolerant and had requested for soy milk when we patronized the restaurant the next morning for our breakfast. Mr. Hak remembered that and for the next 7 days, soy milk was brought to the table every morning the moment we sat down. THANK YOU MR. It is hard to put into words how magical this property is! From the moment we arrived we could see we were in for a treat. The staff were very welcoming, and we immediately felt at home. Our room was beautifully furnished with mid-century furniture, and the bathroom featured a lovely long bench so there was plenty of room for our bathroom stuff. We liked the art and interesting decorations in the room. The public areas are nicely laid out with room for everyone, and I loved the beautiful floor tiles! The pool was of a generous size and the loungers comfortable. Everywhere you look you can see the care and attention to detail put into making this hotel so special. The food and drinks in the restaurant were tasty and we absolutely loved the cocktails. It has been said before in other posts, but it is worth mentioning again that what sets this hotel far apart from others is the sensational service. All staff were attentive, professional and knowledgeable and managed to combine this with a sense of truly caring for their guests, and it always felt genuine. We would love to come back one day. Temples amazing. Well worth booking group sunrise tour to Angkor Wat due to the knowledge of the guide. Visit mine clearing rat centre (APOPO). Ten dollar entry fee well worth the money. I had an excellent stay at Angkor Home 27th! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I especially loved the location — just a short walk to the city center but still peaceful and quiet. The complimentary breakfast, and swimming pool was a nice touch. Laid back charm of this beautiful place, led me to extend my stay. Be sure to check out Apopo Hero Rats - Worth the visit! Tonle Sap - during the rainy season. Angkor Wat, Ta Prom and Bayon Temples and museum never disappoint. Make sure to include Mali's on your list for fine dining! Incredible atmosphere and delicious food!! Siem Reap is a wonderful destination, Angkor Wat is the highlight hands down, and as a photogrpaher, it is disneyland! but so much more to do! I didnt experience the nightlife as it was not important for me. So much potential lies within this city for those who look in the right places. The people are so nice and humble, everyone smiles to you and greets you, children wave as you pass by, such a peaceful community! Walking through streets, nobody bothers you to buy stuff, even in the markets, all they do is invite you to look around..I loved Siem Reap, I only regret not staying there longer.Guest review byKeithMalta
