But what makes this place really special is the Staff! Imad, (the receptionist) welcomed us with lemonade biscuits and a big smile. He was super helpful in planning trips, had no problem meeting special requests and was always quick to answer. He was our main contact, because we didnt speak French, but the other staff were also super friendly and warm to us. They met the 4 star criteria in every way! As the capital city Rabat has a very different feel to it...
As the capital city Rabat has a very different feel to it from Marrakesh or Fez. It is a modern metropolis and whilst we were there did not feel very touristy and felt very local. There are some amazing things to see and do. We were there for three nights and felt that this was sufficient. It doesn’t have the same chaotic antiquity of other Moroccan cities but was a fun place to visit. The Andalucian gardens and the kasbah were fun to walk around and if you like modern art then the Momma museum is a must also the tower and mausoleum were a fascinating visit. we primarily at at local restaurants which were good and very cheap.
