One can not but feel welcome when you are personally greeted by Natalia Nailenge as you step out of the vehicle.Welcome rooibos tea cocktails offered by a smiling Hambeleleni Nakapandi.
Dinner was from heaven for Chef Selma E Shigwedha prepared exeptional Oryx steaks with beautiful side dishes after our evening drive.

I booked an evening drive but only morning drives are done, but these two young people went above and beyond to make an evening drive possible and Richardo had lovely sundowner drinks and snacks ready and available on our arrival at the viewing area.
Johannes controlled everything fire, from the inviting camp fire on arrival back from our drive to every room's boiler fire for our hot water.
Not only was our visit and drive fantastic, it was also educational.
Amber and Tristan shared their passion for protecting the rhino in their care and about the 'Rhino Momma Project"
'More time to visit' is definitely on my list for next time.

GermanyWe had an excellent meal which we enjoyed together with the host. Piet had very interesting things to tell about the country, this was one of the highlights of my trip.
In the evening, huge swarms of small birds came to stay for the night and leave again at sunrise. This was an amazing thing to watch.
The gravel road that leads to the farm from the main road is in very good shape.

Loved the property. It was super comfortable. It was great fun to talk with the owners and their tales of the region were very nice.
The property itself is done up very tastefully. They checked us in, smilingly, 2 hrs before the check-in time. The staff is very welcoming, courteous, responsive and friendly.
The meals were fabulous. Lovely dishes with a personal touch. My wife is a vegetarian and they made special efforts to cater something for her. The ambience of the evening dinner was excellent. The morning breakfast was more than one can ever have with a wide choice.
Amazing folks.
Location is very good. Recommend a 3 days stay to enjoy the property as well as Etosha National park, which is a 8 minutes drive away.
The lodge is very secure and covered car parking is available there.

Lovely place, amazing food (we had game meat every night - Eland, Oryx, Springbok -), amazing breakfast, very comfortable bed and pillows, natural insect repellent in the rooms with lemongrass, natural views from the room - nice sunset -, very friendly staff.
We arrived with Namibia2GO, till the other Gondwana hotel, and we were transferred for free to the hotel (6 kms away), also for free when leaving.
We booked the full day safari with them (about 80 EUR per person) during 3 days and the service was very good, a lot of food for lunch included, and we saw a lot of animals.
Very close to one of the Etosha gates, just 10 min drive.
We would come back, for sure!!!!

We had spent the previous 2 nights in Etosha National Park accommodation as we had been informed this would be better for early start in mornings. The park was amazing but the accommodation was very poor.
Etosha Village was fabulous, beautifully spacious, beautifully clean and a lot less expensive than the national park. Staff were excellent, food exceptional. I'm sorry we couldn't stay longer.
The roads from Etosha to Windhoek are fully tarred, so an easy journey.

Farmhouse was fantastic, very good food - they have European as well as local foods like pap, loved the gazpacho. Super nice and comfortable rooms with high ceilings. And Mama also organized safari drive for me, made sure it all worked, and we were at sunrise at the gate.. would give 10 stars, but that's sadly not possible in here..

Everything is perfect except it is very expensive. Really a 5-star accommodation in any perspective.
Regarding animal sighting, we saw an elephant in distant when we were having our lunch. There is also a waterhole that you can view from restaurants or walk very close. Higher chance seeing rarer animals like lions and Kudu.

The lodge is absolutely stylish and beautiful. Staff were great, rooms very large and comfortable, food was exceptional, high tea was so good, fires were going early morning and in the evenings, plenty of spaces to relax and watch over nature.

We spent two nights here…it was the right amount of time to...
We spent two nights here…it was the right amount of time to view animals in Etosha National Park. The terrain here (unlike Numatoni) is vast and flat. Animals are few and far between but with persistance and great binoculars we spotted a Black Rhinocerous, elephants, zebra, springbok, oryx, giraffe, ostriches, and 1 lion, all during daylight hours. The food is best OUTSIDE the park. There is NO fuel in the ENTIRE park! The “Trading Post” is the nearest fuel to this village (less than 10km). Fuel is CRITICAL for planning in rural Namibia!

We were disappointed by the extremely bad roads in the park. There is no information about the rugged dirt roads in the park. We were happy to leave the park without an accident or car broken. No good for self drive!

There is quite a bit to see in Outjo and the surrounding area. Outjo itself is a pleasant small town and it is within easy reach of the Etosha National Park, Twyfelfontein, the Petrified Forest and Vingerklip.

Outjo is not a very clean town but ideal stop over for travelers on their way to or from Etosha. Visitors can also by essential supplies for their on-going travels. An excellent and reasonably priced place to eat is at the Farmhouse Boutique in town, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner under the shady trees.
