From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this hotel stands out. Located just a few minutes from Västervik Centrum, it boasts an unbeatable convenience. The staff truly is exceptional – attentive, friendly, and always eager to assist. Each meal was a delightful experience, with delicious food that exceeded our expectations. After a long day of exploring, sinking into the hotel’s comfortable bed felt like a luxury. But the cherry on top has to be the breathtaking view overlooking the Baltic Sea, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop that’s hard to put into words. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Susanne was extremely welcoming! The property is very idyllic, close to bus stops. The room was clean, and the highlight was the breakfast. A full breakfast was provided, including homemade pancakes. Would stay here again next time we're around Höör.

Very cozy environment. A lot of attention has been paid to the details. I arrived late at night (10:30 PM) and left in the morning, but I would have liked a longer experience. Breakfast had a very nice setup which is important in my opinion. The breakfast staff was young but took very good care of the setup and service which I consider a special value. If I could have had a chance to arrive earlier and check in the afternoon it would have definitely extended the positive experience of the stay and I could write more about the opportunity offered. It was a bit unclear how many washrooms the property has if they are shared washrooms, but I will look into it next time.

    This is up there with the top 2-3 hotels I've ever stayed in. The photos don't do justice to how luxurious and chic it is. It's really all about the spa though. The rooftop spa is just incredible, and I've been to some very nice spas. I think this is the coolest spa I've ever been to. The cold plunge house on the sea was particularly iconic and lovely.

    Gothenburg is an incredibly walk-able city.

    Gothenburg is an incredibly walk-able city. Sidewalks, pathways, and crossings are numerous and safe. Just note that there are lots of cobblestones, so were comfy shoes. There is an incredible amount of things to see and do, all within walking distance. The public transportation is outstanding and you will not need a rental car if you plan on staying within the city. The shopkeepers and business staff all know English and are very friendly and helpful. The general public is standoffish and dislikes interacting with tourists so don't expect to have conversations or even make eye contact with local citizens. Expect to pay by credit (mostly cashless) and know the exchange rate before you make purchases. There are a dizzying number of restaurants and shops of all kinds. In one week I went to six museums, a movie (in English), the symphony, countless shops, and the large park with animals, went on two different boat tours and a bus tour, and took hundreds of pictures while walking and sightseeing. All this while literally only staying within a tiny part of the city. I would like to go back to see the archipelago, the opera, a sporting event, and more museums.

    We had flown to Copenhagen and planned to stay there until we found that hotels in Malmo were half the cost! Then we fell in love with this small city with its excellent restaurants and museum with delightful cafe. We learned about the "white buses" of WWII that helped rescue people from concentration camps. A piece of history unknown to us before -- and important to know! We caught the Slottstradgarden in its September splendor and enjoyed the cafe for tea and a shared piece of carrot cake before it closed for the day. Ruth's was one of our favorites spots to eat -- for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Wish we had hopped on one of the river tour boats -- next time!

    Great little town on the western coast.

    Great little town on the western coast. We did the "Kattegattleden" bike trail, of which Helsingborg is the start point - although we'd be back for sure, as we didn't see nearly enough of the city! Beautiful scenery, and lovely little stopovers en route!

    Considering that I am hard travelling person and visited many countries and cities, It was one of the best Hotel in my life. Everything was brilliant: rooms, bathroom. I want to thank all staff of this Hotel. Everyone was easygoing and helpful. The breakfast was very delicious and pithy. The location also was not bad for the reason that Lund is very smart city by its roads and destinations. I liked to walk till city center without any transportation. Many thanks to you.     This is an average size Swedish city situated between two lakes. For international travel it is well connected with Gothenburg by bus and rail. We went there to take compete at IronMan 70.3. It is a very friendly place with lots of locals coming to support athletes like me. Cafe and restaurant prices are very reasonable compare to bigger Swedish cities. Bus and rail fares are quite low.

    Linkoping is nice, Have been there a couple of times over the years visiting my daughter. This time I stayed at Scandic between trains as the location is excellent - close to the railway station and the city centre. I would stay there again if I get a cool room. I did stay there again 27 - 28/7 and got a cool room facing the street thanks to Abbe. He was very helpful and interacted very nicely with family with children at check-in. Abbe gets *****!

    Like a mini-manchester but with a Scandinavian touch. An insane amount of beautiful jugend architecture in a town for this size. It's fun to walk around and take it in. The redeveloped area around the worker's museum is highly recommended with a collection of good bars and restaurants and galleries.

This is The Hotel to stay in Halmstad Sweden, conveniently located across from the bus & train stations that offer fast transit without any noise at the hotel. Buy the Bus/Train pass.     Wonderful castle and walks around and through the city were most enjoyable. The area is flat so no problems with steep inclines. Interesting history with many photo opportunities. Even took advantage of a local folk singing concert. We came away most refreshed and look forward to visiting again.

    The hotel is in the center of town, a 5 minute walk to the train station. Public parking is next to the hotel; after 6 pm it is free until 9 am. Though the hotel appears old on the outside, it has very nice interior and rooms. The rooms had good lighting and Wi-fi Breakfast was excellent.
