Vert beautiful wooden furniture and decoration. Fantastic bathroom and living room. We had a romantic dinner in the beach... Unforgettable. Wonderful breakfast and every thing perfectly organized to reach and leave the island... Which is not simple because the island does have asphalt roads and the low and high tides change completely the scene. Also well organised internal transportation within the resort. There was a steep hill to our room but the staff were so helpful to help us with our bags as well as organising the boat transfer from the pier to the hotel. Check in and out was quick and easy. The coconut waters by the sea is a must!! Lovely bean bags and chairs laid out on the beach - adds a nice personal touch as this accommodation is at the end of the beach so no one is really there. Stay away from the main town part if you want some quiet.
Stay away from the main town part if you want some quiet. It's over commercialized, and touristy. The resorts are overpriced for their services and amenities. However we loved Long Beach. It was a beautiful beach. If you like tea, I recommend you bring it from home. It's very hard to find good black tea in Thailand. When I stepped off the ferry, I was in absolutely awe, and immediately fell in love. It's a beautiful, small island, still packed with bars, restaurants and shops. I only stayed one night and I think 2 nights would have been enough. I did the phi phi viewpoint hike, which was killer, especially in the heat. It did get crowded for sunset, so grab your pictures before the crowd arrives. You can walk everywhere, no transport on the island as not needed. I ate at the pirate bar/restaurant, great beach view seating. I also ate at a little cafe near my accommodation, but can't remember the name......Guest review byLacyAustralia
