Everything was AMAZING. The staff is incredibly nice and always made me feel welcome. I took a yoga and meditation class which were offer by the hotel, both the best clases I have ever taken. The food is delicious both diner and breakfast. My room was beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable, and they go way beyond with all the toiletreats. The pool is also super niche and while the hotel does not have access to the beach, a 5 min golf cart will take you there. Great location too, near to trendy restaurants and artisan markets.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Generally, the atmosphere was very relaxed, but still lively. The location was perfect for us as kite surfers and we were referred to an amazing kite station. Breakfast was very generous, and the pool was definitely a welcome bonus, especially when the tide was out in Paje. Can definitely recommend for any couple or family wishing to stay in Paje!

I really loved everything about Bara Bara Eat&Sleep. The atmosphere was relaxed and calm. The wifi must be good, because I have seen people working there on their laptop everyday. The room was small but nice and tidy. It had a toilet and a shower, AC and fan. During the day you have the café where you can hang out, drink a coffee and watch the streetlife of the main road. The coffee is really good by the way, as is everything that's on the menue. The breakfast was out of this world, I never had anything that compares in a hotel. Thanks to the amazing chef! All the staff from reception to cleaning was super friendly, they also helped me when my phone broke and in general fulfilled all my wishes (like having an earlier breakfast as I had to leave in the morning for a daytrip). They made sure I was welcomed when I arrived later at night as anticipated. So: Asante sana to all the amazing people from BaraBara! I will be back :)

This resort is breathtaking. Unfortunately I visited at a bad time of the year when there were rains and the lovely jetty was closed. But even with that, the hotel is definitely worth it. The room was super comfortable. Had some issues with water in the shower one day but the staff was very attentive and sorted it out quickly. The food!!!! Omg....the food was amazing. Soooo many options to choose from and tasted amazing. Really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend.

One of the only places ever that has exceeded our expectations. We stayed for our last 3 nights in Zanzibar and wish we had longer. Promised land is just magical. Stunning, laid back jungle, beach vibes, great food and friendly staff and outstanding views over the turquoise sea, especially at sunset when you can experience drumming and singing around the firepit. The rooms were huge and comfortable and there's a resident monkey family that likes to hang out in the gym!

A tranquil paradise, hidden just off the beautiful and busy jambiani beach. It really was a slice of paradise - quiet, luxury island life! Lots to do around the resort if you want to venture further, and the team are on hand to help with taxis and trips as you wish. Amazing, friendly staff and unbelievable sunrise and moonrise! Paje, beautiful place and beach, plenty of restaurants both on the beach and on the road. The only downside is that the beach is in the shade by 16:30 and very high and low tides makes taking a dip complicated !

A peaceful and welcoming town with a strong sense of community and a safe, relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a peaceful part of town, where there were noticeably fewer street vendors selling beads and souvenirs compared to other areas. This made the atmosphere even more calm and relaxing, allowing us to fully enjoy the local charm without feeling overwhelmed.

This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten track... a village, by the sea, with an increasing number of resorts being added. I hope it does not lose its charm to the crowds. This is a quiet, special place.

This place is a gem! A new hotel with a big heart, right by the ocean, surrounded by peaceful gardens and a stunning pool. The rooms are spacious and stylish, the breakfast is fresh and delicious, and very friendly staff. It was a great stay for me and my family. The best part of this hotel is the entire staff. Extremely friendly and courteous.Always smiling and greeting at every opportunity.A special thanks goes to Fadhila who made us and especially my daughter feel very special and welcome.The Manager was also very friendly and polite.Overall I would rate my stay as exceptional.

If you have only stayed at Sheraton, Marriott, Ritz, King George or similar hotels - this is not your place. But if you are looking for clean beaches, clear sea, delicious food, peace, close contact with nature, friendly and courteous staff - this is it. There are many bars and small restaurants along the coast that offer a variety of food. In addition, in the town (of course African) you can buy products that are very fresh, and the people are friendly. Just up the beach from Paje town, a little quieter but thats what was nice. Wandered to different restaurants along the beach for lunch and dinner. Limited during off season but enough open. We came via Dar Es Salaam airport and ferry. If you can't get an e-visa before arrival, plan 2hrs to exit the airport. We missed our booked ferry and had to pay again for the last ferry on a different company. Used Zanzibar Quest to book the ferry and transport with exemplary service and support via whatsapp and email. The new travel insurance requirement $50p/p on top of the $50p/p visa fee is a scam that mars the experience. The amount of times we had to show our passport and visa / travel insurance was reminiscent of the cold war. Inefficient and overboard. So if you can fly direct to Zanzibar and use e-visa or have patience and a loose schedule. The drive to the Page beach area took about 1 ½ hrs with the first ⅓ taking ¾ of the time with a typical african road experience. Get a good driver. Driving licenses are issued by testing payment of fee. The driver booked by Zanzibar Quest was excellent. Great beach, wind was consistent during the afternoon to either kite or cool down. Bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent. Not a fan of the immigration process or the fees.

Paradise …Jim’s, Salim, Irene and Juliane were exceptional...

Paradise …Jim’s, Salim, Irene and Juliane were exceptional always ready to help. They just couldn’t do enough for you. The reception staff especially Yusef were very accommodating especially as we arrived very early from Dar-es-Salam! They let us drop our bags and enjoy all the facilities until our room was ready! We had a wonderful stay in Paradise.
