The location was perfect. Very nice walk to the lake area and a fantastic view of the mountain range in front of the hotel.

Room was fine, breakfast was great. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating and are the main reason for great review. They offer hiking poles to borrow, self-serve laundry free of charge and were willing to help on all our requests.

Situated right at the bank of the well-known Blausee lake with its crystal-clear blue water, this hotel features a gourmet restaurant offering trout and other delicious treats.

We couldn't fault this place. The beds were so comfortable, the spa absolutely perfect and the dinner and breakfast two of the best meals we'd had in a long time. On top of that the staff were outstanding and couldn't do enough for us. It was raining heavily when we arrived so we were given complimentary teas before being taken to our room (as it was an outdoor route and that way we could wait until the rain had stopped). Robert and Ute on Reception and Peter in the Restaurant were amazing, though all the staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. This place is a little slice of magical luxury and we highly recommend it as somewhere lovely to treat yourself - and it's not even that expensive by Swiss standards, considering what you get for your money. We only stayed one night but felt so well-looked after and relaxed that it felt like much longer.

Set on 1.408 metres above sea level, Griesalp Hotels enjoys a quiet location at the foot of the Blüemlisalp. It offers a breakfast buffet and free Wi-Fi in public areas.

Amazing hospitality. Nice and spacious rooms. Delicious food and a beautiful area to stay. Went for a tough hike with my younger brother (via alpina1 from lauterbrunen to griesalp). In principle our timing was good, but unfortunately he sprained his ankle on the way down. It was not so bad we needed help, but bad enough that we needed to take it a lot slower to be safe for the final 1k altitude meters downwards. What should’ve been a 9 hour hike turned into 11 hours; Arriving tired and hungry at the property in complete darkness, about 2 hours after the kitchen had officially closed, we did not expect anything anymore. Yet, the owner of the property still offered us a meal and drinks, before showing us to our rooms. Despite her day being finished and she was wrapping things up to call it a night, she treated us with a so much kindness. We’re really grateful, and will make sure to come back to her hotel one day to finish the next section of the via alpina!

It was very central to the village and right next to the bus station. But so quiet and peaceful. It was spotless and friendly. We had a wonderful stay.

The place is on top of a mountain we were amazed about the beautiful hotel The best prt was that the last day of my vacay i didnt fell so well and the woman in reception was helping me to reach the hospital plus she even gave me the private car of the hotel to drive to the emergency. Love the bed and pillows. Had 2 nights of good rest. Love the Mountain view from my balcony! Could see paragliders in close promixity! Breakfast was adequate.
