Our host Annie is very generous and upgraded us to the Cottage Room. The lovely room was very well stocked up with amenities and food. We enjoyed our stay and the nice cooked breakfast very much. Highly recommended!!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Riverside Matakana. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets on a comfy bed. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. The only disappointing thing was that the pillows were very thick and firm. I would have liked softer ones. Other than that, I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back. And stay longer.
